Sleeper Cell is a mini-series, wasn't canned or anything, that's just one of the many reasons which makes it great. But I must agree with your point

the cast, action, acting is decent in ny and it DOES NOT suck as ncis

Yeah that strike really fucked TV royally.
You should check out Day Break, interesting little TV-series (just one season) about a cop that is stuck in the same day over and over. It kind of sounds dull on paper, but it's like a TV-series version of the concept from Run Lola Run.
Also, have you seen The Wire or The Unit? |
