yeah I switched to the short blade shortly have I got it, and never switched back. the short blade plays like the long one, except faster and with cooler animations Very Happy

anyone know what causes a fatal hit while counter attacking instead of just a push to your enemy?

I think you'll achieve that exactly when the opponent tries to strike at you. Click on the exact moment. I've done it many times.

For the sake of Assassin's Creed only 8600GTS, although so heavily criticised here and there works really fine even with pre-gold version Smile. I get around 30 fps in 1280x900 (only in this bizarre res I can run it without widescreen's black spaces) and full details... It chops at times when it loads another part of the map and I know its because of 128bit architecture but putting that aside its performance in this game is FLAWLESS.

The only two titles that were really choppy at times and only on HIGH details are: Crysis and World at Conflict... The very rest including GoW and Bioshock works splendid Smile

And if you are to choose between 8600gt and HD2600 the choice is obvious... THESE ATis are awful when it comes to gaming... ~.~

well ...where i live a 8600gts it's about 150euro/200$ and 8600gt 100euro/150&....so.... too much!a salary is here like 250$.....so imagine!life sucks...!i'm gonna go with 8600gt maybe make an oc after and when i win on lotto i'm gonna buy a 8800xxx!thx for answering!

I hope you know the 7900GS blows away the 8600. Only thing that the 8600 offers over the 7900 is DX10, and even then the card is to damned slow to take advantage of the effects unless your in low ass shitty resolution

As long as I can run games at 1024x768 with AA on the GPU is pretty damn good for me Smile. But I too know that in dozens of games 79xx get better marks than 86xx... Bureaucracy I guess...>.> And I woudln't hop just like that on 9600... After all its performance IS worse than 8800gt so it's basically the same as with 6600 over 5950, 7600 and 6800 and 7900 over 8600 ~.~... I'd really prefer to add another 50 buks or so and buy 8800gt SmileSmile but... as long as games run fine on 8600gts I won't change it SmileSmileSmile

100% completion savegame found via another site, might be useful for some.
(As one can continue play to find templars or flags and replay previous sections of the game.)

EDIT: Might be a good idea to backup your current NAME.sav file and rename this one to it to bind it to your current profile. (Won't mess with settings or keybindings as those are stored in the two other files and the INI file.)

Yeah It's quite useful so credits to whoever created and uploaded it, actually started using it myself and went back to the English release - can't visit Jerusalem or Arsuf but that's not a big problem as I mainly roam around and explore various areas now.
(Will wait until the retail disc is released, probably buy it as well as it's a good game despite being a bit repetitive.)

There's a lot of attention to detail though certain parts are somewhat odd, such as using the hidden blade to kill one of those speakers (Or anyone for that matter.) only to have the crowd (Or other nearby NPC's) silently disperse without anyone being alarmed.
(Until a guard arrives a bit later and starts investigating.)

Speaking of that hidden knife some of the animations are a bit odd.

Oh and for some reason my clothes got torn, looks strange.

Epic fail. Fuckware buried inside "is151734.exe" The other 24MB EXE just crashes on load. WinINFO claims it's a Win32 self-extracting cabinet, but it doesn't run.
