Maybe after the full release there will be a fix for it or something.

I can go to Jerusalem but if I Talk to anyone or an NPC (Villager) Talks, they will stutter and the sound loops.
If I rename the file or Delete that Sounds.Forge File, there is no English Audio but it also DOES NOT STUTTER.
So, Im stuck with English Stutter, or Complete Russian. |
anyone?

That's a known problem when using that "fix" - best would be to play either the Russian version or using the English version as a test.
(Unless you play the Jerusalem and Arsuf parts with the Russian version and the rest of the game with the English version.)

Both of the two English releases (Procyon/Reloaded - Reloaded probably used Procyon's files.) are not final. (Beta perhaps together with the two damaged .Forge files - Arsuf and Jerusalem.)
The Russian release is a bit better but I doubt it's final as it's totally unprotected.
EDIT: A good reason why these would be beta versions would also be that there have been no "gold" announcement yet and it looks like the title will retail in early April.

I've downloaded the Russian release, but it's awful. I don't like the language as it is, and hearing it all the time is torture. I'm just waiting for retail.

You and I both, Leo ^_^
I honestly can't see why this game got so many poor reviews -- it's FAR from boring or repetetive, it's insane fun!

Me too... I love this game... And the reviews... Well, i can honestly say that the reviewers these days are not what they just to be... Sometimes i think that it are just 14 year old kids or something...

I remember reading somewhere, can't remember if it was on here or another site, that when AC came out ... reviewers had that along with games like Mass-Effect, CoD4, etc etc etc to review all at the same time. AC isn't a game you can finish in one sitting, or ten, it's a huge world with MUCH to explore and do. Because of that, most reviewers would tend to lable it as boring and repetetive simply because they were trying to rush through the game by completing only the MISSIONS.
I do actually agree with that. It's a sandbox-type game (one of my favourite genres, actually) that requires a LOT of playtime.

True, true... And another thing, you (in general) cant blame Reloaded nor Vitality for the not working release... I mean, they just release it, they wont play the full game before releasing it... Certainly not when the scenewars are so obvious the last weeks and they want to release it as fast as possible...

Yup!! We said that a few pages back, people are whining that "ViTALiTY will proper it soon!! Eat that Reloaded!!" Umm. Engage brain before putting finger to keyboard. Neither Proc nor RLD could have done anything about this release, the cracks are fine -- the game ITSELF isn't. It's a broken beta.

Indeed... I mean c'mon, just open the jerusalem.forge with an hex editor and you can plainly see the file doesn't even have a fu**ing header! It will never work....

Yeap... i just endulged myself and played it for a bit, that was more than i had excepted due to the date the beta was released. I was quite shocked when i saw it on the net, but now, i´ll just wait for the final, as everyone should do.

Sure, it's easier to dowload a game, but it always takes more time than simply buying it and it is not just.
So...gonna save money until release date. |

They get their salary right? So, dont bitch about it... Piracy is calculated in the increasing prices of the games...

IMO, most of the people that download are generally 'hardcore', and don't play 90% of the games they leech beyond installing and trying anyway, just that the fact that they get to experience the vast majority of games that get released gives them a more intelligent, and as a consequence interesting perspective imo, on videogames in general......
[EDIT] I buy plenty of games....

Haha, most of the people here act like spoilt brats when it comes to games. Because they can get them all for free they lose any objectivity by gorging themselves on free games and taking them for granted.
If anything being a 'hardcore' downloader just turns people into hypocrites. Unless a game is exactly what they expect they just delete it and come on here posting "NEXT!" like anyone gives a shit their ADD wasn't sated.

So? Think further. More people buy games --> games will get cheaper --> u'll have to pay less for a game. Your argument is worthless.
Second: Yeah, they get salary...but how could you as owner of any shop pay ur employees without enough money? Do you think salaries are just always there, coming out of nothing on the bank account of the developers? I guess not. Don't think so short-sighted...
What would you say, if your employer told you tomorrow that you wont get any longer your salary because he doesnt want to pay for you...and that you just should "calculate" how to equalise that loss.
You wouldnt be excited i guess.

Certainly true, but your previous post seemed to imply that the majority of downloaders (hence the majority on this site) have a "more intelligent...interesting perspective". This is not the case by a long shot, although there are individuals who's opinion is objective enough to be informative.
