I installed this game when it was released, and now I thought about giving it another try but same problems. The game istalled fine and all (reloaded + 1.1 patch), I created a profile, it detected my Logitech Dual Action so I edited the control setup for it and everything. But when I start a race, nothing happens. The controller is setup proerly, and already checked in the control setup page, but I can't use it to start driving the car in the first race. Any hints?
core2duo E6750, 2gb memory, 8800GTS 320MB, vista ultimate.....etc.

ah nvm, it worked. I had to play with the keyboard, then switched the controller back to the logetich; and it worked.

I had the exact same issue. I also had to start game with keyboard and then alter in settings to Gamepad.
