These crashes every 15-20 minutes are starting to tick me off....apparently it has to be something with hardware since some people seem to be reporting using the non-clone without a single crash.
Have all settings maxed out, WinXP 32bit, SB Audigy 2 ZS, 8800 GTS 640MB (171.23 drivers), Intel E8400.
Any clue as to what the cause? Have tried rolling back drivers with no better success. The crashes seem to be completely random.
I can never be free, because the shackles I wear can't be touched or be seen.

Alright dumb newb question.
How are you guys gettin the reloaded release installed. I have tried 3 versions of Daemons (don't have 4.12 with IDE emu though, although I tried with 4.10 IDE emu) and none seem to be working. I can see all the files on the image but when I try to open any of them I get "file not found" errors.
Does this have to be burnt to be installed? If so, then i i assume it must be 9GB DVD?
Thanks for any help guys,
-Z

Yeah, crashing every 15-20 minutes for me as well. At first I thought it was my 8800GT overheating but then I remembered I didn't overclock it with Rivatuner, and when I get back to the desktop it's not showing that nvidia warning triangle in the systray which always show up when the graphics card crashes. Only conclusion: buggy game OR crack.

which bugs are ppl refering to?
finished 360 version and haven't encountered any that will stop or stall me from playing the game
looking at how many problems pc version has i'll skip it, not that this game has any replay value or anything

no.
Repetitive in such a way it just makes it feel very boring and unfinnished on the developer part.

Sure, it's smooth overall when there is nothing to display, but sometimes it can drop at 25fps, so stop smoking shit Still playable for a game like this though.
Because of the shadows, those eat a lot GPU power
EDIT : and yes we know you can play Crysis everything maxxed fsaa 100x at 60 fps constant. |
Maybe yours drops to 25fps .. oh diddums. Don't assume things about everyone else. Mine has NEVER dropped below 40fps and I've got every option set to Lv3, including Multisampling -- and this is at 1280x960.
Troll much? Or is just plain, undiluted and ill-disguised, ENVY?
-=Edit=-
Also, whomever said that something has to be 60fps to be "smooth"? Anything over 30fps is smooth - and seeing as how I don't see a frame less than 40, well.... sorry to burst your cosy little bubble; but that's SMOOTH.

I have to agree, the only thing I don't have maxed out is AA (2 instead of max of 3). No slowdowns, dips below 50fps etc. going on. If I set AA to 3 (max) it can dip to ~30fps if there's a lot of variation in the scene (soldiers, knights, buildings, fighting, horses etc.)

thats wierd
come to think of it thats approximatly the same time as me, so now to figure out whats happening every 34 mins, must be a check of some sorts, calling home maybe?

I'm trying to figure out if there is much of an improvement over DX9 mode and DX10 mode. Currently, i'm not seeing much. And I get such a large FPS gain when running w/ DX9 that I can run with shadows on high, instead of having to drop shadows down a notch.
