Me too. But I'd LOVE much more to see a Dungeon Keeper 3.

an interesting discussion.
Kudos to those who focuses on publishers marketing-propaganda effect on the gaming community.

well Mr.Molyneux who the f*ck is the one who can change things? the players? or himself?
maybe they should make unique games instead of the shining console crap... the greatest difference between console and PC is that you can make million profit from the same old shitty TPS with a nextgen graphic on console... while on PC no one will buy it!

First of all, i do not agree with the OPs choice of words for the thread title. He sure sounds like the famous veteran who passed the heights of his career and is now crying about his works not getting the attention they used to get. Then again at the same time he is still a well known face (if not outright a legend) in game development, one of the faces who have been here from the very early days.
All i can say is:
Good bye PM, i wish you luck in the world of dumbed down user interfaces.
I really dont think this issue is worth wasting any more words on it. For every great mind who leaves the industry, there is one on its doorstep waiting to be discovered.
Thats my .02 ISK
edit: In a sense, the fact that today's games are getting more and more boring is because of the in-breeding nature of game development. There arent enough new faces coming in, not enough new ideas. Instead they just reuse the old classics and combine them with more or less success over and over again.
