Funny offtopic. Pizda is also a Polish word. Actually a lot of swearing in Polish originates from Russian. Like "hui", for example. Smile

HL2 will not be revolutionary, but maybe the first to make everything good into one game.... Just my thoughts

We have seen it all...but not in the same game!
Hl2 is everything. AI, physics, story, gameplay, grafix, replayability, fun,......everything. Or that´s what i´m told.

HL2 being banned in australia Shocked

http://www.sumea.com.au/snews.asp?news=1222&related=Industry

The Pan European Games Information (PEGI) age rating system has given Half Life 2 an R(18+) rating. This means that minors are unable to purchase the game in numerous countries like Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Greece, Italy, Norway, Spain, Sweden, and the UK. What's really interesting about this is how the game fairs in Australia. The Australian Office of Film & Literature Classification (OFLC) has yet to classify Half Life 2, but if the board follows suit from their European counterparts, it'll mean that one of this years highly anticipated titles is banned outright from sales here. Currently, Australia has no R rating for games, so game titles need to meet the highest rating (MA 15+) or they will be refused classification.

Norway have a 18+ rating also so it wont be banned but you can only buy it if you are 18 or more.
That's the meaning of " minors are unable to purchase the game".

Lol man i love to live in The Netherlands, we never get fucked up dutch language games it´s always english and that´s a big plus coz it´s extra cinematic. Games like for example COD have german versions and Russian versions where they talk the native language..... lol American WW2 soldiers talking german... right. Point is, NL always English, and my original point: as far as i know a game has never been banned here......ever. HOOAH.

Never played it so I wouldn't know, I think maybe it's a little more stable but thats about it.

*mild spoiler*

I'm talking about in kleiners lab, when they're talking about teleporting you, it's great! Or when you're in that house on the coastline, and the gunship comes in.

Quick question regarding the beta. Have you played that level shown in the videos, the barricade level. I can't remember there being any manhacks on that level in the video, but in the beta there are about 50 of them! Is that the same for you guys?

Well, in a review (Good one) was stated that all of the LVL's shown in the video's where redone... so maybe that's the reason

Well I can tell you for a fact that alot of the levels in the beta are totally different in the video's. I played the trainstation level, in the beta it's way smaller and less elaborate. The same basic things occur, it's just far better presentation in the video version. So the beta doesn't really give much of an indication of the final quality of the game. It'll be far better then that.

The conversations just seem so natural though, almost unscripted they're that good. For example, two people were talking to me, I was so engrossed in them talking I didn't notice a third person walk in until he joined the conversation. Amazing.
