I watched it and was disapointed, I thought the acting was bad - look at me I move my head like a robot was way overused and terminator movies have always been high budget and about special effects so it's kinda dispointing to watch it has a Tv show, I will give the serie a chance and watch another 2-3 episode to see if it gets better...

Watched it. Wasnt as bad as i thought, was kinda good actually.
I really like the references to Terminator 2. Liek the way she lifts the garage door. Her face in profile loosely resembles arnolds aswell.

I liked it...but I dunno bout the good terminator...seriously, what is she, 5'4, 110lbs? like I know she supposed to be a machine and all but they couldnt find a more muscular looking woman for the roll
Hell, Venom from American Gladiators would have made the perfect terminator woman

I watched the second episode and still don't like it.
The cast is just wrong, john connor looks like he's out of a boys band and sarah connor please, have they even watched T2, she's supposed to kick ass and in the show she looks like a second role from fucking desperate housewife.
Also this OMG they come from the future thing, is getting boring, they come from the futur meaning it's the past, how hard can that be to find someone and kill him/her when you can send robots and know everything that will happen... anyway not the point.
What I want to see is fucking john 40yo connor leading the human resistance and kicking the machine ass not some dump T63000 made with liquid metal, oh wait forget that they don't have the budget for that, made of plain metal shotting guns and not aiming right.

There coming with that movie of John connor in the future...supposedly Christian Bale is suppose to play him last I checked but that was rumored at the time.

yeah like james cameron would have anything to do with the shit the terminator franchise is turning in to.
instead lets get charlies angels to do it... kinda fits thou u gotta admit... like casting tara reid in a low budget shit movie.

Watched the first 2 episodes and its actualy not to bad. There were the odd goofy moments but the show has potential. At least it will good to know what happend between T2 and T3. And yeah you can tell there not on a holywood movie budget but for what they have its pretty descent.

I still dunno about this show yet.
I mean, the characters...well, I hate. The female terminator isnt convincing. A terminator should be big and badass. Sarah Connor character doesnt come across like Linda Hamilton did in T2. And the kid who plays John Connor...fuck, he's a lil pretty boy wimp. Furlong wasnt a wimp. They couldnt have got a less pretty, more tough looking kid? He supposed to lead the revolution, not the gay parade...

During an interview the actress said she was not trying to copy or try to copy Linda in T2, but rather make it her own. I bet if she was trying to imitate Linda, you'd all bitch that she is just copying her and a talentless hack. But i do agree on the terminator and John, they just do not fit very well. The female terminator just looks weak, and doesnt have the same presents as Ahnold had, who was menacing and just bad ass.
I liked the first three episodes, and i'll continue watching it, we'll see how it turns out.

the "good" terminator (summer glau) is the only good thing in this show. I stopped watching it after the 3rd episode, because it got seriously boring. And for those who don't know Summer Glau, i strongly suggest watching Firefly , Serenity (movie of Firefly series). She can kick serious ass.
ps: she is 5' 6½" (1.69m).

I agree that the characters suck. The female Terminator was just cast for sex appeal. I agree with some of the others saying they should have had a male badass Terminator or at least a tougher looking female Terminator. Not some teenybopper wannabe.

i wouldn't mind a female terminator if it actually made sense
T3's T-X (don't fucking get me started on how retarded that name is) and summer in this (who is great in her own right) are beings clearly created by man for man's (imaginary)physical pleasure..(by the suits, for the teen target audience) - not created by a machine intelligence for infiltrating a postapocalyptic human resistance
both creations would stick out like a sore thumb
not to mention trying to fit all that machinery in those thin limbs and body shape
