Sound more logical to me to ask if this game will even have a multiplayer component! I didn't read anything about multiplayer in Bloodlines...

i'm glad it now seems that vampires doesn't have to wait for HL2 to come out first.. they can release the game now even though HL2 isn't released yet.. damn my brother is a die hard pen and paper RPG player and he plays Vampires: the masq. on pen and paper.. he'll fucking thank me for this once i get my hands on it!

Uhh, Vampire Bloodlines is only singleplayer. There is no multiplayer.

agreed!, by focusing on a singleplayer experience, you can immerse the player much better in the story, the truly great singleplayer games i've tried, i sat down started to play and got more and more immersed in the story until i finally completes the game and then i am like : "whoa! what the hell happened to the time?!, i better have some sleep now 48 hours since i slept..." thats an experience which you will remember.

Vampires doesn't look bad. But theres something from the vids I've seen.
laugh at me, hang me, flame me, but watching those vids I kinda get reminded of postal 2. Theres something in that game that gives me kind of a deja vu. Maybe its the animations, or the free roaming or graphics or colours or something.
Which doesn't mean the game has to be bad, gameplay seems great. But I think they could have gotton more out of the hl2 engine.

Yup true as you say. It feels bad that they have to wait for hl2 to come out first before releasing their own game just because of source.

Yeah well they used that time to polish the game up, so it works out good in the end.

That was the agreement they made with valve. I think it was probably worth it to use such a cool engine.

Yeah, I think the waiting time is worth it. It gives the dev's more time for testing and improving which in the end makes the game a lot better.
I think it's worth the time, even tought I'm dying to play it.
