So i installed the game, tried to play it, but when i clicked play, the game read the dvd, then did nothing. Tried running it from theclub.exe and launcher.exe, and again, it did nothing. It doesnt load, it just appears in task manager, and disappears the next second. I think i might've located the problem: binkw32.dll
i tried moving theclub.exe, launcher.exe in an empty folder, and ran em, to see which file it would try to access first. It asked for binkw32.dll, i placed the file in the folder, and ran launcher.exe again, with the same result as before. Game fails to load, giving no error. I have dx9 installed, .net framework 3.5, xlive and w/e else is required. I've above recommended specs, with an incorporated sound card (realtek 97 w/e)
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Ye but i've gone through so much trouble, just trying to get it to work. Downloaded it twice, installed 3 times, 2 diff cracks + procyon version, getting .net framework, latest version of m$ live, etc.
FFS.

Could try to install the latest Bink player.
http://www.radgametools.com/bnkdown.htm
Could also try to move the movie files somewhere else so the game doesn't play them.
"\Club\image\ui\movies" (Rename the movies folder.)

Already downloaded that, its just a player, and as i said, game doesnt even get to playing the movies, i tried running the game with just those 3 files. Normal outcome would've been "Could not find file bla bla", instead i didnt even get an error.. :\ Just load and unload in task manager.

The game does work on XP SP2, a friend of mine, with similar specs installed it, and is playing it right now. >< Im sure its software related, codecs, gfx drivers or i dunno.

i guess the main problem of the game is the repeatetive tasks every map, cause the maps are fine and at the first few missions its even nice till you see the same mission again and again. if there were new goals like..lets say to chase some one and kill him in 2 min's or stuff like that, i guess we wanted to see what come's next..but now exept for new maps...there is no trigger to go on :/

Have you tried alt-tabbing back into the game? I just skip the cutscenes and then if it crashes (like every other Windows Live game) I can just alt-tab away from the error and continue playing.

I think the graphics are nice, crisp and solid, but the gameplay just doesn't draw me in at all. If you could win money from matches, and there were loads of upgrades to spend it on maybe it would feel more rewarding.
Also you should be able to create your own character and develop them through the course of the game.

You can still create a offline account (Or whatever it's called.) and use that to play with though you won't get any benefits such as multiplayer and achievements that way but it will save your progress just fine.
(Though I didn't like the game that much and uninstalled it after completing the first challenge "Steelmill".)
