So it seems you guys are really enjoying the game? I don't have a modded PS2 or a DVD burner for that matter so I have to wait till Tuesday to play it. Can't wait.

hmm i think you just need to drive around in 'house' areas and see if there are any arrows infront of the doors where did you find the truck, or was it just driveing around in the streets?

yeah it's great! more than worthy addition to the series. the whole gangsta theme is really good.

i tried driving around, couldn't find any arrows or anything. :/
yeah i stole the truck on the streets, at the dockside there's lots of those driving around.
I remember when finishing the robbery mission they mentioned you could rob houses at night with that truck, but thats all it said, it didn't go into much detail. :/

im at 18% atm... played 12 hours. the game freezed 1 time. could be the media i think. all i can say till now is awesome! this game will keep me on my couch till 2005.....

anybody know at which point the other 2 regiones get unlocked? I know you can go to them anytime, but from when on do you not get a 4 star rating?

To get a prostitue into your car, you need to pull the car next to them and press L3, then she will ask you whether you want to have nice time with her. Now you got two options, you can either decline her by pressing left on the d-pad or accept her offer by pressing right on the d-pad. Hope that helps

you need to jack the van near your house (the house you got at the beginning) and then you need to push r3 drive slowly around you will see a yellow arrow then you have to walk into the house......its fun to rob tvs,dvd players and shit. Very Happy

Nevermind, found the van. What's this about a girlfriend? Is there just one girl in a mission or can you pick up any girl of the streets and how? And anyone know what to do with the flowers??

Wow, this game is pretty good. I just started and im in the spraying mission, so far so good. I gotta say this is the best GTA yet.

got my hands on gta finally. i have to say it's great. i've got it on somne shitty media but so waht. it's gta it's great. i dunno why are you whinningon missions. i did them on first time this game is the best ever. so many possibilties heh. i didn't wander around the city but i can see already that it's huuuuge. so good that GTA has bad language i kinda missed it in other parts. i'm playing for about 2 and half hour and i'm gonna more best GTA ever! AMD 64 3800+ ~2.7Ghz, 2GB Ram, GF 7800gs + bliss 512 RAM...

AH i finally was able to beat that mission and this time it was a cake walk. I dunno why i didn't notice it before but you have unlimited ammo in that mission but i completley missed that. Dont ask me how i could miss that because i have no clue So the reason why i had such a hard time hitting them was because i saved bullets (or so i thought) and only pulled the trigger when i had a perfect target. But now when i finished it i just held the button down all the time (almost) and that made it ALOT easier Ohwell, i'm a few missions past that now, right after you get yourself a girl. And i finally got access to the ammunation store (about fricking time). edit: the truck is around where the first gym is. Inbetween those 2floor apartment buildings. Atleast it was when i last looked. edit2: Animalmother the game is really worth a ps2. I think it's one of the best games ever created. It cant touch vice city though in my opinion but it's not far behind. I have already spent around 10 hours by doing a shitload of other stuff that has nothing to do with the story, and that is quite amazing

Just because of the whole gangsta theme. Gangsta is one of the most annoying things in this world. So it has nothing to do with the gameplay, just the gangsta crap Actually this game is better when it comes to gameplay than vice city but i just cant stand the gangsta crap so that makes it alittle less enjoyable for me than vice city. jesus christ I've read a lil bit here, all I can say is that some of you are fucking geeks, if you're gonna complain about the graphics etc, then don't buy or download the game, personaly I think it's extremly good, better than both vc and gta 3 together, and I'd choose ps2 over xbox anyday.

This game puts Vice City to shame. It is sooo massive and there are tons of things to do besides missions. I have been playing all day just loading up my car and doing drive-bys If you want to make tons of cash fast, shoot the dealers standing on the street. You can make $3000 in one hit. I bought 3 houses just cappin dealers! Thanks for the info on the van also.

you can't really talk to pedestrians, but if people ask you something specificly you can reply positively with ->, and negative with <-.
to recruit a gangmember stand close to one of your hood's guys (the ones in green), hold R1 to lock onto him & then press up.

no idea on the fatness thing, i've had a pretty muscular guy from the start.
but to me it seems you'd probably need to eat a shitload before you get fat, cause when you ride on a bike or run around a lot, you'll lose fat.. so to keep yourself extremely fat constantly is probably pretty hard lol.
swimming is decent, altho imo the underwater areas could have used a little more 'dept'. there's not much to do (so far) underwater, just a fish or turtle swimming by once a while. (you cant stay long underwater anyway tho so it's just nitpicking) But at least he can actually swim this time, instead of duying from falling into the water, it's a lot of weight of your shoulders knowing you wont die by driving into the water accidentaly or so.

and yeah the tattoo shops work fine Smile

How do I see who's a dealer?... i REALLY need money I've been robbing houses a couple of nights now and you can't really say you're making money unless you're in the rich neighbourhood.
