Ok, noob quesiton here.
If I decide to flash my box now, would I ever need to update the firmware to be able to play new games. I don´t give a shit about if I get banned from live or not.

you can flash whatever version you want... if you don't care about XBL, flash with xtreme 5.3 or wtf it was called. It can also run 4.7gb DVDs too afaik.

Yeah, but after I flash for the first time is there any need to upgrade the firmware later or will it always work?
I ask because I don´t have time to read up and fix stuff myself so I´m just going to let some store do it for me. But if I have to run to the store once a month because I need to upgrade firmwares then Ill skip.
