why not buy one at ammo-nation? there is one in willowfield (SE on the map, close to your house) and one in downtown los santos =)

ammunation isn't available yet at the mission he's talking about..
in the beginning you can only use the pistol at the back of the alley.

and don't worry too much about armored vests, you can buy them at ammunation for a measily 200$/piece once ammunation is available to you.
there's also one in the locker room of the police station..
and you get a shitload of vests & health (in the middle of the street Very Happy) when you try to take hoods.

Anybody knows, if the OG's dancing mission is indispensable to get on with the main game??? Sad I suck at those "press the buttons at the rigth time" dancing shits, and I have done all the brotha's missions, all I have now is just OG!

Another question:
How on Earth we can f*ck (or precisely: get them in the vehicule) the walking whores: as I remember in GTA III, all I had to do, is stop my car near them, but I forgot the rigth method in Vice. (I think, that it was something different) I have done all the pimp missions, and now the bitches would pay me to f*ck them! Very Happy BUT I forgot (pr don't know), how to enter them in my car!

in gta vice you need to get a nice car, not a van and not a police (or a taxi?) etc. car, and than pull over close to them, havnt tried it yet i got a girlfriend in the game and it woudlnt be morally correct to cheat on her >_<

i picked the bitch (formerly known as my girlfriend) up, went on a date and shootin some assholes on the street and accidently pressed R3 or L3 (dont know which one) and the car bumped and the text
"You abused you girldfriend, this date is over" came up and all the progress went down to zero, so i guess i found the fuckifucki button Smile

im gonna find out how you pick up some escort ladies ASAP Wink

How far are you in the game? Did you managed to make OG's dancing mission? Or do we really need it? Crying or Very sad

Sorry, but I don't feel shit. Sad And I have the impression, that the button mashing isn't really rythmed either. I managed to get 3400 points, but that' about it. Sad. I really HATE that part.

Man it's fricking impossible to start a gangwar. I just came back from shooting over 70 (by myself) of the same gang but nothing happens! Are you guys REALLY sure that i can shoot them anywhere i see them and get a gangwar? As it looks to me it has to be done at some specifik place, since random places seems to do squat. I mean 70 and nothing?!? You would think that they would get pretty pissed but instead they seem to not care at all. Idiot gang members Smile

Maybe i shuld just forget about it. Wasting another 200 (making it way past 400 in total) and still nothing would just make me extremely frustrated.

the area youre killing people should be red on the little map, otherwise it wont work. for some reason all my turfs are gone and i cant take over any new either Sad i lost them when i got to a certain point in the game :/

what red are you talking about?
the red ones on the radarmap mean the ones that are under attack, those aren't new ones that you wanna take over.
anyway
the hoods you can take over are represented in purple on your map.. go into a purple area & start killing some of those gangmembers that are wearing white shirts with purple pants.
it *should* work fine like that.
the green areas represent your own hoods. (the yellow ones are from another gang i assume, haven't tried taking those yet)

and about the dancing mission, there's no way you'll be able to advance, since OG was the last mission i had before i went on with the main story, so yeah you have to do those.
i actually liked the button press thing, but i'm sure it must be very frustrating if you're not completely used to your ps2 controllers.
i've played a lot of JAP ps2 games where you had games like these, so after all that it's easy as hell.

it's not that hard really, just depends on how well you know your button placement.

yeah i'm passed that point as well, i quit playing for now as i'm looking to make some cash to buy some houses/savepoints.
anyone got some ideas on how to make easy cash? i know the firetruck missions are good but i cant find the damn firetruck lol.
taxi & ambulance missions aren't really my thing.

Wait a minute. Maybe you have to wear your gang colors if you want to be able to take over turfs? I picked some other clothes, like camo pants and a black shirt, maybe that's why i cant see any purple or green.

edit, nah, you need to do a certain mission first if i remember correctly.
then it'll become available to you.
or perhaps you need enough respect first so you can start forming a gang & then it'll become available, can't really remember.

sound about right .. i,m wearing green jeans at the moment and life is quite hard in certain areas ,i'm immediately attacked...still only 8 or 9 missions into the game ..i'm crap

The girl live close to your house, near that bridge that goes over you 'turf'

to get into houses and steal it has to be night and you have to have a van, dont know if you need a special one.

yeah i'm wondering about robbing houses too.
i got the right van & tried it out at night. (yeah you need a specific van, like the one you used in the robbery mission)
but i dunno where to go next or what to do? anyone been able to figure it out? would come in handy to make some cash each night.
