I'm on the fourth disc right now. There's lots of optional stuff there like some arena, lots of side quests, optional bosses, a really hard bonus dungeon and probably some other stuff I don't know about yet.

 It's roughly 10 hours per disc for discs 1, 2 and 3.

I have done hardly any optional stuff yet on disc 4 and I'm at 36 hours now.
If you rish through I guess it's 35-40 hours total, and with doing some of the optional stuff I guess around 50 hours or more.

when doing everything I've heard it's around 70 hours, but can't confirm that.

					| really good game, imho
here are some tips:
save, then quit the game. After the reload your HP/MP is restored

 also use:
 Fire vs Wind enemies
 Wind vs Earth enemies
 Earth vs Water enemies
 Water vs Fire enemies

edit: if you get stuck you may want to watch this video walkthrough

check the map for bright blinking spots on the map, instead of the non-blinking normal ones.
that's a location where you haven't been yet.
chances are that's where you have to go.

unfortunately I have no idea where I had to in the beginning of DVD4, but I know I wasn't confused :P

					| I'm about 2 hrs in and this game is looking relly great. I wish MS had started doing this kind of stuff back in the xbox1 days. Oh and blue dragon & Enchanted arms were both shite.
The story and dream sequences / backstory are interesting and the characters are quite good, I like the drunk / womanizing Jensen.

 Back to the game.

yeah it's there. it's in the docks , where the shop is. (blue icon on the map I believe)
there's a door in the back there that leads to the auction house.

					| Hmm, I've had 1 random crash and 1 dirty disc error. Both were fixed with a reboot, but extremely anoying (losing all progress). I've never had any problems like this with any other game so it's kinda strange.
I think I might actually buy this game to support this type of game developement on the 360. Play-asia has it for $55 AUD while EB Australia lists it for $99 AUD! Talk about region specific pricing models, we're always getting ripped here down-under (pardon the pun)
