Had a 360 since launch day - still love it to this day
got a wii for xmas - still playing it (it's chipped, so lots of games), even playing some older gamecube titles like ssx3 which is miles better than blur and 007 EoN
also got a ps3 for xmas, hardly played it, although i'm enjoying drakes fortune and an asteroids remake that if fucking brilliant taht i downloaded and can't remember the name of. I'll tell you this though, the blu-ray player sucks, slow as fuck!

No. 1 xbox360
No. 2 wii
No. 3 PS3
and lastly PC (as there are no fucking games anymore for it) and when there are, you have to update the whole fucking thing

I just wanted to say you all were right. I had the Wii for 2 weeks and sold it last night. It's a waste of time. However, don't deduce from that that I mean the XBOX360 or the PS3 are better. I just hate consoles. For me it always has been (and always will be) PC FTW.

What are you talkin about? Everything that comes out for the xbox360/ps3 also comes out to the PC. You have Fallout3, Deus Ex 3, HL Episode 3 and GTA IV to look forward to on the PC.

erm no. that im afraid is a bullshit statement.
just a few recent examples of the big releases in 2008 so far:
where is dmc 4/turok/burnout paradise on pc?
sure a few get to pc but the vast majority dont nowadays. and the time for it to reach pc is ever getting longer. I refuse to listen to your opinion because after all the advice we gave you, you bought a wii, then you sold it. I may have had respect for you if you stuck by your decision but you didnt, so on that point i bid you adieu, you are a buffoon sir!

It isn't just a matter of what gets released on PC versus the consoles. The sad fact (and i read an article talking about this) is that there are NO 1 million sellers any more on PC.
Even great and popular games like bioshock do not hit the 1 million sales mark.
Pathetic movie games on consoles sell more than AAA titles on PC. So, where do you think game makers are going to start focusing their attention? We (PC users) just don't produce the numbers/revenue any more. Go look at your local Gamestop and look how the layout of the stiore has changed. It is now dominated by console games with a small center isle holding the PC games. And, I have eard through management that they are moving towards carrying NO PC games in store and only making PC games availaible online ebcause PC games don't produce enough revenue any more.
I hate it as much as the next PC Fan, but those are just the facts. I sincerely hope it turns around at some point. I don't think microsoft wants the PC gaming to die for sure... and I think they were hping Vista could boost it somehow but so far, that hasn't worked.
One glimmer of hope though is that Crysis DID manage to do 180 and sell 1 million copies.

You think I got "served" here? No. This thread is the living proof of how we all get served on a daily basis with these so called "next-gen" consoles. If you buy a 360 you still get this nasty feeling that you will miss God of War 3 and Tekken 6 amongst others, and you know that the future will lean towards the PS3. If you buy a PS3 you miss out on billions of titles that are currently available for the 360 and the overall performance of the 360 is better - as of now. If you buy a Wii you think you're getting something else - a new game play experience - but then you realize that the graphics are outdated and that all the games are Asian-themed with no realistic storylines or game play.
So I think that consoles suck. I always knew it to be true, but I decided to give them a chance since more and more games are becoming console-exclusive.The way I see it even if I have to wait for new games for the PC longer than the consoles it'd still be worth it. Maybe in the future when Sony decides upon cohesive specifications for the PS3 and when a shitload of new games becomes available for the PS3, I'll buy one.
Right now I'm sticking to my beloved PC.

I know choosing the Wii was wrong but I had to make that mistake to see for myself. I also had the Xbox360 for a few days and the PS3 (from friends) and they sucked.

wtf? stupid, there were like 200 games on the pc just last year, most of them the consoles will never see and some of them were briliant, pc still is and will always be the ultimate gaming platform. And if I want some stupid fighting game, not a popular genre on the pc for good reason, I can play some of the best like soul caliber by using a dc emulator. ps2 emulation is catching on, slowly but surely, I can play super mario 3 on a pc in a resolution you can only dream on with a real snes console.
So stick that xbox pad up your ass caus' I can go and play Company of Heroes:OP and you can jerk off at the screenshots, have fun

I've decided to get a 360. Don't ask me why.
Should I get the premium or the elite? And if the elite please explain the benefit of having 120GB. I am most likely going to get banned from x-box live, so will I really need all that space?

Well, when i bought my son's Xbox 360, we could have easily gotten the eilte. But... I have a core and a 20 gb HD. I have nearly every single game currenlty available for it. . . have downloaded all the rock band songs available and still have over 10 gigs left on the drive. I THINK mine came with a 20 GB, could have been a 15... someone else will have to confirm. But anyway, unless you want to spend the extra cash (and have use for the HDMI cable), then i would just get the lower end version.
EDIT: if youre going to use Xbox Live and download demos, movies, trailers, music etc, then yeah... i would say go for a bigger hard drive. And the core did come with a 20 GB drive.

No flames here man, i think you'll like it. I love the PC myself, but as for consoles atm i don't think youll be disappointed with the 360. If you have any questions about flashing the benq just say the words
