JUST LEVEL UP LEVEL UP LEVEL UPLEVEL UPLEVEL UPLEVEL UPLEVEL UPLEVEL UPLEVEL UPLEVEL UPLEVEL UPLEVEL UPLEVEL UPLEVEL UPLEVEL UPLEVEL UPLEVEL UPLEVEL UPLEVEL UPLEVEL UPLEVEL UPLEVEL UPLEVEL UPLEVEL UPLEVEL UPLEVEL UPLEVEL UPLEVEL UPLEVEL UPLEVEL UPLEVEL UPLEVEL UPLEVEL UPLEVEL UPLEVEL UPLEVEL UPLEVEL UPLEVEL UPLEVEL UPLEVEL UPLEVEL UPLEVEL UPLEVEL UPLEVEL UPLEVEL UPLEVEL UPLEVEL UPLEVEL UPLEVEL UPLEVEL UPLEVEL UPLEVEL UPLEVEL UPLEVEL UPLEVEL UPLEVEL UPLEVEL UPLEVEL UPLEVEL UPLEVEL UP.
i was level 16 when i defeated the worms.
Strategy was:
kaim seth. attack the same front enemy.
Jansen. cast aqua on worm.
first worm never got to fully charged, kaim and seth would weedle down the front enemies to the last 2, and they would kill one of them, another would appear leaving only one to charge on each turn. just repeat this so youve always got 2 front enemies. Jansen keeps casting aqua, worm is down in 4-5 turns. second worm comes, does his attack, no problem were all immune. seth and kaim keep attacking second to last front enemy keeping the cycle, and jansen can either continue to cast aqua or heal up party. DONE AND DONE simple as fuck.

Seriously this game should be called magic odyssey, physical attack barely does any damage. I depend alot on magic to defeat lots of enemies. Anyways I got stuck on that crimson forest thing with Mack possessed, do I have to get him to 1 HP or something, I keep killing that little sh*t and then game over. Some help guys?

cast sleep on him dopey. im on disk 2, story is better but the game is still pretty average. I also get sick of all these stupid quest things (collect 10 flowers, avoid security bots, etc)

haha yea i realise that after a few attempts, anyone think this experience system suck? You can't really build up your characters if you don't progress in the game, you won't get much exp when killing monsters.

I think it's great. you rarely, if ever, have to grind in one area. running through an area to your next objective is usually enough to keep your characters up to date.
if you want lots of grinding for levels, try a shin megami tensei game on the ps2.

Was just wondering if its safe to update the xbox with the update thats on the Lost Oddyssey disc, or do i have to reflash the old firmware, then update via live before i can play it ? Or can i just update from the disc without bricking it ?

I was a bit dubious about doing that aswell. Quick question: Is there ever likely to be any upgrade from a game that can mess up my 'upgraded' 360? and revert the dvd drive back to factory default? I'd guess its highly unlikely.. but would still like to know for sure

The update is on the disc, that's how I updated. I don't think you need to be connected to Live to update your console.

SPOILERS:
Anyone have any idea where I can find the third guy in Saman experimental place? I've spent the last hour or so looking for him.

Exactly, the update is on the disc - no game has ever needed to connect to Live for an update.
- THERE MAY BE SPOILERS AHEAD! -
Anyhow - yesterday i took the time to finish the first disc. So far, the game has only grown on me since the very beginning of it. Story is so far decent, sometimes a little strained maybe, but all in all, its been getting better by every hour. Also, it was a little bit emotional atleast, when Kaim met the kids mom, you-know-who (trying not spoil anything here )
Also, the kids are a bit annoying, but Cooke can be pretty helpful at times i´ve noticed, with her Casting Support and Barricade.
So yeah, so far i really like the game

Or have i just missed them completely? |
you can get cool new weapons in hidden chests that you usually only find if you go a little off track. they are usually bundled with a ring.
you can also buy weapons once in a while at vendors but they aren't as powerful as the stuff you could get from chests.
