There is no easy way to build a good website.. You could download a template and use that.. but that wouldn't be building a good website now would it Wink..

Cs3 Dreamwiever is very simple, You practically don't need to know any kind of code, and can build the website completely with the design part... That's the way I'm building mine anyways Wink

well, if you're looking for something quick.

1. Best bet is to look for a template and go it that way.

2. Dreamweaver is the next obvious choice.

3. Or if you're looking for something really simple Microsoft Frontpage or even Publisher will do the job.

4. or maybe something like http://www.mrsite.com/ will help.

Depends, if you want the site to look good; it'll take time regardless. However if you're going to rush it; it's going to be rather basic and plain looking or from a generic look.

Best of luck!

quick, simple, professional and best way

draw your website in photoshop
slice it up
export it, using save for web ensuring you select html and images
you have a website that is useable now
if you have left blank sections for the copy (WORDS), open in dreamweaver and edit

You got the first 2 steps correct.. If I ever found a professional web designer who completed all of the steps above.. I would kill them.. with a live chicken.. Let me rewrite them correctly.

LEARN XHTML AND CSS
draw your website in photoshop (using layers)
slice it up
export it, USING SAVE FOR WEB, ONLY SAVING IMAGES.
Create nice CSS based layout using the images (above) as backgrounds for each section
Enter content using valid XHTML

exactly, you shouldnt be using tables. which is how photoshop saves out to HTML.

Yeah, a table-less design is near mandatory nowadays. Smile Otherwise most of the time i use fireworks over photoshop for webdesign.
