Just completed the first disc. Definitely like it a lot so far, it's a good game.
Loading times are fine, and didn't experience any major framerate problems. The framerate does drop once in a while in some cutscenes (especially when they use that screen splitting stuff) but overall it's been pretty solid and not annoying at all. Definitely less problems than mass effect.
The only thing I don't like about it are some of the characters.
The main character is ok, Seth is also a character I like, but then there's that Jansen guy who's just annoying. And just when I got used to having that retard jansen around, I get a freakin kid.
I can't stand kids in my party, it's ridiculous...
I just hope that I get some more cool characters soon together with the possibility of switching out those annoying bastards.

playing with xtreme 4.2 and no crashes here, so it might actually be your xbox dying, Dhaos.
When my 360 was getting close to death, what happened was... fps got really low for a second or two, and then it would freeze with some artifacts on screen. (that was in dead rising) after having that for a day or two maybe after half an hour of playing or so, I got the RRoD.
on another note... There are now 2 kids in my party! That's just so... ugh! god... 7 year old boy punching armored soldiers to death? yeah sure. this sucks! lol!

i was playing the game in english language, and it seemed pretty lame, specially jansen, so i switched to korean language with eng subs, and i watch alot of korean films, so it seemed to fit more, and jansen made me chuckle actually lolz.

how did you kill the enemys ?? in the namura ? i cant kill the horsesand the soldiers -.-
im on level 16 wich all my charakters! whats your HP from charakters??

jansen 480 hp
seth 530 hp
i cant kill the enemys -.-
another note
why actually aren't the opponents always double at the course and I? every time I did not attack then to come again 5 people of the others to understand I!

those were pretty hard, yeah. you should use Jansen to cast the spell that puts a shield against physical damage on your guys in the first round. That will help a lot.
Then just kill them one by one with only Kaim and Seth, and use Jansen to heal.
Kill the horses last, and hope they don't use their special attack to kill Jansen.

i understand the fight system...
in the first round im ready to attack the enemys and in the second round are the enemys ready to attack me but then the enemys are again to attack me too....
first = me
then = enemys
then = enemys
then = me
then = enemys
then = enemys
that sucks becausethey 5 enemys and i have only 3 chrakters to fight -.-

I cannot kill that snake thing that asorbs magic from the other insect things infront of him, tried about 5 times now and just keep using up all my magic and items. Stuck and cannot carry on.

level up, also get kaim and seth to learn anti paralysis from the yellow bracelet then give it to jansen, so that nooone will be paralysed by para shock or whatever the snake uses.

it depends on what you do. different skills take different amounts of time.
some magic spells take 2 rounds, so the enemies will be able to attack twice in that time.
if you start casting a spell and enemy hits you then the spell will be delayed and it will probably also take 2 rounds.
everyone has only 3 characters to fight those 5 enemies so you can win just like everyone else.

what I did was get anti paralysis on all my characters, then first round start casting Prism with Janson, attack some of those bugs. then second round most bugs should be dead.
then I just attacked the main worm with Janson (his spell should do about 400 damage) and also Kaim with the fire attack ring I think and that hero potion or something that increases damage. he should also do around 350 damage on one attack then.
keep killing a few bugs as they appear with seth and an appropriate ring to cause maximum damage to them.
like this I killed the worm before he was filled up even once.
 Spoiler: | a second worm shows up after you kill the first one and he has a full power gauge from the start. after he uses the attack, just heal everyone up and continue nuking the main worm with Kaim and Janson |

Im at the first boss the dragon boss. My characters are lvl 13 and i can NOT kill him. He rapes my team with ease. Any helpfull suggestions ? Like tactics and stuff ?

Yeah, I had difficulty too, all the enemies before this first boss was a breeze so WTF? anyway, basically the way I did it was the 2 fighters keep Jansen healed, while he nukes it to death with the ground spell, it does the most damage out of any other attack or spell, and the dragon has like 1500 hp, good luck!

I couldn't do it so i asked my little brother to try cause he's played trough many of these types of games and he killed him :/ Now im at the 2nd boss and i can kill the 1st worm but not the 2nd. Tried to kill the small ones so the boss can't get mana but the bos keeps summoning like 3 at the time so thats not an option. Bahh i guess im not any good in these sort of games

LOL...there IS a button tutorial at the top left when you start the "minigame".
It's very simple,just turn the torch where ever the person turns it and try to connect the both ends.
y is up,b is right,a is down and x is left,then use left joystick to more accurate positioning.

well, there was a save spot right before the worm.
just load that game, and run around some more and kill enemies until you got it, then try the boss again.
I think it's cool that the bosses are so hard. Easy rpgs suck :p

ok well my mini review (ps i LOVE final fantasy and other good jap rpgs)
graphics are average. look like upscaled ps2 really which is sad.
game is very linear so far with small areas to run in
story is sub par so far but i hear it gets good after disk 1
characters are ok, voice acting is good but the faces look wierd.. not asian but bad art, unhuman.
game can be a cunt in difficulty! have died on the bosses numerous times. If you dont do something right like get anti paralyse and water spell the worm boss can be almost impossible
Checkpoints before bosses like blue dragon which is great so if you die you dont need to reload it all again
dreams are lots of reading but very interesting to read
overall it feels like a final fantasy game without being as fun or interesting. So far i give it 7/10. It is MUCH better than Blue Dragon but MUCH worse than Final Fantasy 12

ehehe... I'm a little bit into disc 2 now. Kaim is slowly becoming a more interesting character as his past is revealed, and I don't have to use the damn kids in my group anymore.
I still have to get em in once in a while to teach my immortal characters some skills, but other than that I'm trying not to use them because they look so ridiculous.
I heard there are 9 characters total, and I have 7 now. I guess you're gonna get that weird guy in the golden armor sooner or later. No idea who the last character could be though. I'm just hoping it's a cool one.
I'm still pretty happy with the game overall. I just wish that you had more control over your characters...
Like... Kaim and Seth can learn pretty much every skill and spell, but they are still always gonna be simple fighters, and as such magic is pretty useless, except maybe for enemies that can't be harmed with physical attacks.
That's a bit lame. Would have been cooler if the immortal characters weren't so specialized, so you can decide what their jobs are in the group.
Or at least some customization with equipment would have been cool so you can increase certain stats.
Oh well, I guess you can't have it all. Anyway, back to playing :-)

this post pisses me off so much. also yellow bracelet is for PARALYSIS NOT POISON. JUST GO LEVEL IT UP WHATS SO HARD?!!?!? seriously if you cant grasp simple j-rpg concepts eject the LO disc from your xbox place in bin and go play a simpler game.
