I disagree
There is free speech but it's not absolute free speech.You can pretty much say anything you want but if you threaten yo blow up the White House or to kill the president for exemple then you may find yourself in deep shit.At least , we can criticize the government without the fear of being jailed , sent to "reeducation" camps or just plainly shot like in China.But like i said there are limits to that free speech though.We still have it much better than in many countries in the world despite all of our faults. (when i say we i mean U.S + Canada = America)

One day, There will be allot developers that share private made games.
That are banned & not released in allot of country's but on internet they would share it.
Thats the way I think that is gonna happen in about, 5/10 yrs.

What confuses me about this is everquest is banned yet all other mmorpg's aren't? Isn't WOW the biggest at the moment anyways? Why take out the lesser game first?
Now for CS I happen to play it once in a while and started playing back in 1999. I still to this day can't understand what the big fuss about this game is when it comes to people wanting to censor it. America's Army is just as bad if not worse as it actually encourages kids to join the army and get into REAL life threatening violence (I happened to be in the army and i am appalled by the methods use to recruit).
Also why is it that no one seems to remember the past? Violence has been around since... well forever even before mankind walked this earth. I'm sure our Neanderthal ancestors fought and killed each other all the time and do I even need to mention the roman and medieval times? How about WW2 as a more modern time they certainly didn't have video games or even Vietnam which had what pong?
To blame video games for the same types of violence that has been happening since the birth of mankind is just insane. I've been a gamer since I can remember and I have never once in my life killed or seriously hurt anyone. I barely ever got into fights and was never the one to start them. Now I play the most violent video games ever created and I'm still 100% against real violence and haven't changed my ways. To blame video games for violence is the same thing as blaming superman for a kid trying to fly by jumping off their roof. Its not the game , music or movie that causes people to do these things its lack of logical reasoning which also can not only make people do out right stupid things but turn violent as well. Which goes to show you that our mind isn't as evolved as our primitive ancestors were as much as we like to think.

How many kids that played America's Army do you think got recruted? Gamers are harder to recrut that rednecks.
Army? No friggin way, there is no quicksave there, I die all the time in COD and I've seen those Iraque sniper videos on net, those guys are ELITE. You won't see me going there. No wallhacks, no cheatz, and only m16 to choose, fuck army.

counter-strike is an addictive game for mindless people, who gives a donkeys ass about it being banned. the only people who should care are valve but they already have other titles that make a lot of money so no big loss. half-life on the other hand, now thats a game with a good solid story that is worth playing  hf contradicting each other

Does it matter how many really are? One is to much and even the attempt of it is to much. We have politicians who say nasty things about video games and want to make bans like this happen in America as well. While on the side they say nothing about the US military doing it and never dare mention America's army as a example.
As for "fuck army" I agree as of July 07 I've been out and let me tell anyone here that may be thinking of joining DON'T. Don't become disabled like myself...
If you are ever tempted to join for college there are many other ways to get into colleges and afford it that don't risk your life and sanity. If your patriotic then truly examine this country at the moment what freedoms will you be defending nowadays? Look at New Orleans when the national guard took peoples fire arms away under orders which clearly breaks the second Amendment. Then take a look at the war we are NOT the good guys or bringers of happiness and freedom.
Well I've gone completely off the topic and apologize and will stop.. anyways down with censorship of any kind!
