Don't really know what to think of it right now. While it looks hot and has great style, I miss the old crash events. Trying to do as much damage as it was in the previous games just was so much fun. Not being able to restart races doesn't bother me much, as there are races everywhere and I don't see any sense in trying the same race over and over as it doesn't matter which one you choose.

Well, I think I will play it from time to time, but it's more like those little games you put in to have fun for half an hour. No serious time-killer for me.

I don't see this anywhere. Is this for real?

Never heard of that group before, so if this is real, they probably dont have access to those 100mbit dump sites where the releases start spreading. So it might take a while.

lol @ 100mbit... that was 5 years ago... think now in Gigabit lines Wink

As if you could use a gigabit line there for anything, let alone a standard adsl line. Wanna try bypassing their systems? Jail w/ torture next. Laughing

I agree this game is not worth buying, leeching/renting is all good, but its definitely not keepers...something is missing from the experience compared to previous burnout games...and it resembles the current nfs games a lot which is never good!!!!

Another shitty free roaming game where you need to go to a place for this a gas station for that. Didnt they learn nothing from NFS U2??

The crash sounds are weak and boring.

The graphics are nice and the G 'n R song Paradise City is the only Pros i can find on this game.

Burnout 3: Takedown is still the best in my book

the game is great fun. The biggest problem in this game that you can't restart. I just fucking hate it when you take 1 wrong turn and loose the race. In 99% of the time I have no idea what way I am going. You really need some friend next to you to tell you what turn you need to take if you don't want to crash. Also online does not add anything special.

Overall 7/10

The crashes themselves are spectacular as ever with some great camera angles but what happened to the impact control after a collision? Am I missing something or is it still included?

I love this game. I was worried about the free roaming, but once you get a hang of the map it's sweet, no shortages of races and did I mention the GFX, wow! eye candy tastic, best looking racer out there, possible best looking game, check out the paint jobs at the spray shop, puts some of those PC demo's from nvidia to shame.

worth a lecch/rental or even purchase, well done Criterion

Well you cant retry or restart an event which sucks but you can cancel one by not moving the vehicle for a while. Took me while to work that out! Nice to know I dont have to get to the end of a race in last place to continue the game lol.
