Great Britain, 2007. A deadly plague, known as the "Reaper Virus," has broken out, killing hundreds of thousands in its wake. In desperation, the British Government evacuates as many survivors as it can out of the infected area, and then builds a wall, preventing the remainder from escaping. Thirty years later, with the wall still up and the victims all but forgotten, the virus breaks out again. The Government decides to send a crack team of operatives, led by Major Eden Sinclair, into the hot zone to investigate the possibility of a cure.
actually ive been waiting for this film since middle of last year or so... just finally got around to downloading the trailer 30 mins ago, come here and see youve made a post.
i cant wait, neil marshall is a great director, and i cant wait for this film... see.. i dont hate everything shit thats really great, i look forward too with a fricken vengeance!
its good to see theyve given him a pretty sizeable budget from the look of things... just hope it doesnt go to his head and end up making a silly hollywood type film... i hope its raw and brutal like his previous films without all the sugar coated mainstream shit.
everyone picks up on the mad max similarities and the 28 weeks later ones as well, but i also think its got a very john carpenter escape from NY vibe too it as well... yeah im pumped about this film and cant wait for it... hopefully the 'cheap resident evil (or 28 weeks later, or mad max) knockoff' comments are unjustified... man, cant wait for this in hd
i also really like rhona mitra... i think shes one of the handfull (and im talkin about 5 or 6 here) of actresses currently working that can actually pull off a decent and realistic portrayal of a tough chick without it looking retarded or tacky. yeah, great cast all round, specially pertwee.
looks very endtime-apocalyptish - and I'm a fan of things like that.

The only good thing in this movie was some of the gore. . . and I found the lead chick rather hot. Other than that. . . BLEH.
It tried to be too many things at once, and the whole mideval thing really ruined it... along with the ending. I was seriously nodding off at the beginning of it. Picked up a little bit and got my intrest... then totally lost me with the knights and crap.
Didn't like it. Gore was good. Chick was kinda hot. Rest was crap.
