I've read a while back that id software was outsourcing a new Wolfenstein game to Raven and that it would be based on the Doom 3 engine. That was a while back and I haven't heard a word about it for a long time. I'd be psyched about a new Wolfenstein game, doesnt even need cutting edge gameplay as long as they et the atmosphere right. Anyone got any information on it?

i LOVED rtcw multiplayer demo, that was the shit! never bought the full game alas, but i spent so much time playing the demo online. the singleplayer game was kinda meh though... didnt suck, but i wouldnt say it was a great game.

And remember Hitler in 3rd episode? When he sees you he yells something like "die you allied shr****" (can't tell exactly) and when he dies "Eva (Braun) auf wieder sehen (goodbye)". Not sure if i spelled it right ye spelling nazis.
The first sound card i had was a wooden box called Covox Very Happy

later on there was a SB-compatible Zoltrix Very Happy

Maybe they switched engines, could be accountable for the lack of news. I honestly didnt care much for the MP, although I suppose it was alright (so many WWII MP shooters out there) but the SP really brought something different to the table with the whole mythology take on WWII. Before RTCW was released there was a rumor going around that Hitler would be the end boss just like in the classic Wolfenstein. Maybe they'll do it this time...then again its prolly not PC enough for todays gaming world. Hell, I hope there'll be another Wolfenstein at all

RTCW ruled so hard, not one single game can rule more, mmmm I am lying, Enemy Territory its free online multiplayer successor ruled even more, not a single game since then came near, closest thing to good MP is COH, but its another genre.
