Oh, well maybe, I didn't see them in the Demo to judge for myself, but Dark Eldar were finely made.

Well, this demo was a lot of fun. I played through the first part and loved it. I am installing Dark Crusade now and will now go through the game again as a different race other than the Necrons.

Cannot wait for Soulstorm.

You only play with Necrons too? Laughing Everyone I talk to seems to prefer them than any other race in DC. Chaos were my favorites before DC came out, but they got nerfed seriously with one of the patches and I lost interest in the game.

Looks like Ironlore (Titan Quest and this game, Soulstorm) has been forced to close down due to lack of funding for their next project, wonder what happens to this game now.
(It'll probably still be released by THQ but what about patches and similar.)

This is bad news!!! I hope THQ understands how important this game is. I am hoping they pass it off to another developer to work on patches by reading problems that exist on the forums. Hopefully there won't be any need for patches! Fingers X! Just release the game please!!! LOL!

Yes sad indeed.. had some good contacts in IronLore.. SoulStorm patching will be back to Relic but honestly that was expected back last year (I knew this fact but didn't know IL was folding). Oh well.. Dawn of War 2 development won't be affected as IL wasn't part of that.

Relic are masters of RTS, i know. But Ironlore is amazing, Titan Quest + expansion is still one of my favorite alltime games. So i have no doubt that Soulstorm will be awesome as well.
They probably worked with Relic, but had to do the dull programming/modelling stuff on their own, or something ^_^
Now, come on reloaded!

Do you think this will be like Dark Crusade, that when you install it (or play it, whatever) you can just enter all cdkeys from all the previous expansions and get all maps and races?
In short, is it safe to remove the Dark Crusade iso? grinhurt

Yes, it is stand-alone. And why hang on to the DC iso? The game doesn't have any disc checks, you just install and go.

Because DC had a check that prevented playing with the previous 5 races if you didn't have the original and Winter Assault installed (which could be circumvented by the method Baleur posted).
And to Baleur: Yes, it'll be the same as DC, so until we know for sure that the same or another method works to fool the game into allowing to chose all the existing races, it's better to hang onto the DC iso.
