I finally visited the home of nforce, Amsterdam. I was only there for 12 hours at a hotel next to Schiphol waiting for a flight. I went accross the street to a burger king and on the way I crossed over a canal and I saw the biggest fucking rat I ever saw, I thought it was a cat at first but then I saw the hairless tail. My gf said maybe I saw a possum, but I don't beleive there are possums in Amsterdam. It was seriously 2 feet long.
That's my experience of the Netherlands.

if your hotel was next to schiphol and you went across the street you didnt go to amsterdam the city.

It wasn't city streets it was like a bunch of hotels and industrial stuff (I noticed Western Digital office), but there was still canals and a lot of people hanging around drinking and smoking. It was dark the whole time, all I did was watch some dutch TV (lots of porno adverts, maybe for ordering whores?) and go to sleep. I would like to go back one day for a proper visit it seemed pretty laid back.

london hetrow is bigger. |
i didnt mean it literally but rather subjectively. Especially the ass-long "vertical escelators" (or person-transport thingies or however you call em) and the huge parking spaces just looked much bigger than at contenders like heathrow, frankfurt or similar. |
