just watched a tariler, and hell i want this game:) i loved so mutch sniper elite and this one looks good to me..but when the hell is the release date?
and from google, looks like there is a german version around 960mb.
Looks pretty good, i wanted another purely sniping game for a long time. I too found that 960mb version, but it is in German. If anyone played it, do you have to know German to play it (like understanding missions, what to do next) or is it self explanatory, or maybe there are some translation floating around?

Someone needs to make a REAL sniping sim - not this arcade shit
1. Infiltrate behind enemy lines.
2. Sit and wait for the target in REAL time while on the lookout for patrols or other changing factors such as weather or the target not showing up.
3. Ex filtrate.
Now THAT would be a fucking game. The ultimate test of endurance and sanity. With today's graphical capabilities they could make one hell of a realistic sniping sim. Too bad it won't sell to the CS and COD kiddies

It is a game, i dont think a lot of people would want to play super realistic sim, theyd get bored quickly. Id play it, but id play this game too, because there isnt that many sniping games out there, and a lot of those are just plain retarted.

agree..its fun and feels good when the camera chase the bullet and hit the target:D
i think the first time i saw this bullet chase was on max payne and i loved how it played.
i dont think so. . . the interface looks different and I dont remember playing those missions (like the one where you shot a dynamite to stop a convoy)
plus there was no gore when you hit someone on bullet cam, unlike in sniper elite.
Still better than nothing, dont like it, dont play it. And the game looks to be made by Polish developers, but cant find a Polish release, only German. There probably wont be English release, as the game looks pretty cheap.

I agree - there ain't no good sniping sim. Still, you have to consider that the receiving end (players) is a really small group. Like the ones that buy fishing simulators or hunting simulators (well, maybe this group is a little more crowded). Therefore i don't think any company would bother making a game where you have to adjust the sights, take a wind correction (well, that was PARTIALLY done in Delta Force), wait even half a day for a good shot. But that's a wish only. I regretfully doubt it will ever be made
All those sniping moments in FPS games are sometimes laughable - even no scope moving :/ I remember that Metal Gear Solid (the first part, on psx and pc) added diazepam - a medicine to eliminate hands shaking. It was really cool, and i don't think it was in any game earlier.

though, i didn't get the wind mod.. gets too difficult with no easy way to estimate wind
ok...so i don't understand german very good and the game is only 960mb' but this alone will not stop me to play the game:D
but...and there is always but..after i installed the game and activated the exe, i am getting black screen with the screen messege window about the recommanded resolution..i changed the resolution and some how..the menu screen apear, so..i started to play and after 15 secs..same black screen but this time for good :/
tested on two pc's one with 6600gt and one with 8800gts two drivers and same resaults:(
it's all question of what eatch and everyone like to play..again, i like very mutch the camera that chase the bullet and i thing sniper elit and this one doing this effect very well..for me its perfect and for the one who looks for realism, this is crap.

It's a bit too realistic for me, but some of you might enjoy it. It incorporates mildot-reading and other stuff.
That's an awesome training sim to learn on. Will definitely be grabbing that.

it's just a below average fps with a sniper rifle
the sniping mechanics is the only thing going for it, but it's set in regular fps levels, so what's the point?
I just installed the game and in 2 minutes of playing this is what i've discovered: it's probably by the same people who did Sniper Elite but different levels. The interface has changed but hopefully for the better. I enjoyed SE but changing weapons and using items was less than user friendly, so i'm hoping that has been improved. The language is German and i didn't see a way to change it to English. No, i didn't check .ini files or anything like that because i just mainly wanted to see if the game was different from SE. I liked SE because i'm one those sick bastards that gets a kick out of capping someone in the head from a distance . When you work retail there's no better stress management than a nice shooter and that's the honest truth. I'll try to remember to report on what the game is like but i'm almost sure i'll like it. Hopefully this helps out my fellow SE fans.
*edit* This game is not by the same people as SE. Looks like this game is at the minimum distributed by City Interactive, who is from my knowledge a maker of a lot of budget games.

Also, being German the game is censored. You get to watch the bullet-cam but you don't get to see the blood. Without wasting a lot of words this will only get played if i'm really, really bored and i'm rarely this bored.

I only have a 2.5 p4 with a ATI x850 and 1gb ram. My drivers are the ATI Catalyst 7.10. I'm playing the game with the iso mounted in DT 4.03. I can deal with a few bugs but censorship,hell no. You've got to have something to cancel out the bugs, something like a nice clean headshot or a little mindless violence. .

in Call of Duty 4 there is a nice and realist sniper mission I loved that mission until now. I hope that I will have more of them until I finish the game.
