Glad I still have NWN2 + MotB untouched, this thread just goes to show how there's really only a handful of good CRPG's out there.
Dragon Age is still TBA status and think Sacred 2 was delayed as well so there's not much to look for in the coming months. Glad my bro is getting X360 so i can steal it and play Mass Effect, at least. Very Happy

For the OP, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chronology_of_computer_role-playing_games is a pretty comprehensive list of CRPG's (only one I know of, anyway), could be a few hidden gems there you might've missed. And some games really become fresh and new again with some mods, those are always worth a look when thinking of replaying some old games.

Yeah, Demise is lots of fun. A very pure to the soul dungeon crawler.

Also, Space Rangers 2, Jagged alliance 2(not exactly a RPG, but still...).

And Depths of Peril also is a very good RPG indie game,a Diablo clone with a bit of strategy mixed in(you compete along other adventurers controlled by the AI)

My guess is because you dont have a life and it hurts you, so by saying it to someone else, you think you will hurt them.Most posts from you in PC section are about how everything is perfect on x360 and sucks on PC. I made the "mistake" of buying a 360.Sad
I bought it only to play Mass Effect and Ace combat 6,after having finished both,I must say it's now gathering dust.
Mass Effect was ok,but when compared to the witcher,witcher beats it 10 to 1 IMO.

jesus i hate the bullshit console vs pc wars, i dont understand why some people think they have to be loyal to either one. There are good games out for both consoles and pc it doesnt mean just because you play games on the pc you arent allowed to play games on consoles or vice vera.

Mass Effect is a great game, same as Witcher is a great game... doesnt matter that they are on 2 different systems.

Like all suggestions that are made, they come from personal exp. Thank you very much. I would rather play WOW then pay to use shitty LIVE service and every little map or addon that comes out. Laughing Funny thing is, in youre world NFS PS is like 100 times bettar on x360 while game is identical on both systems. That kind of talk goes in every topic for every multi platform game. As an avid RPG fan,
I must highly HIGHLY recommend giving Space Rangers 2 a go.

It went into my top 2 games of all time.
It is seriously one of the beteter games I have played in forever.

If you haven't heard of it, it's a space RPG type game where you upgrade your ship and such. But, it is also an RTS at times... and an Arcade game at times... and, when you happen to go to prison, a full blown text adventure.

It really is incredible.

I had a freaking mission to escort a cargo vessel that was carrying the frozen corpse of Elvis to a nearby planet for cloning! That was freaking cool.

All-patched-up Boiling Point is worth playing? Played the initial release and it was buggy as fuck Sad But i would consider playing again if it has any sense. I wonder if it'll be playable on a lame 8800gts 640mb Rolling Eyes It's a disgrace for that great, great gfx! Rolling Eyes

I didn't like Titan Quest either. BUT, I tried it again just recently with the expansion and like it alot.
Dunno if you tried the expansion or not, but they added a lot of nice stuff to it.
