I'm playing the SP missions, and I think it's an OK game so far.. Loved the sniper mision.
But I'm stuck somwhere... We just killed zarqawi's son ( or whatever his name is ) and moved to the next mision, killed a few enimes, two US snipers showed up, then an explosion happened, after that we moved to the explosion area, infront of a fence, and wait there for something.. they don't move, and I don't know what should I do there to pass that fence..
It says "regroup with team B" or something like that, but nothing happenes when I go there..any1 got an idea?

Humm...youre not at the place i had in mind. Looks like a bug cause as far as i remember, you follow your teamates in this mission and they seem to not doing nothing. Did they lauch those nuclear missiles already?

You're at the right place, but you're team should cut that fence. Try restarting that level.

No they're not supposed to cut the fence. The missiles have already been launched (he's already with US snipers). So the mission should end.
So... try restarting.

New patch 1.4 added a new Winter Crash map (Christmas theme)
Btw: for the steam guys who are having problems installing the retail patch.
go to regedit-> HKEY_LOCAL_Machine---> Software---> Activision ---> Call of Duty 4----> and rename Digital Distribution to something else. Then install the patch. (It is recommended to change it back afterwards)

You don't even need a crack because multiplayer executable is not protected.

when i connect to a cracked server , right after the game loads i get a punk buster message saying global ban on this guild xxxxxxx etc , this is for every server i join thats cracked

My god, i just started playing on veteran, and holy shit, i lost count of how many times ive died in the first mission. I start freaking out just thinking how the fuck im going to beat the sniper mission, which took me many, many tries just to beat on second to last difficulty. Too bad its so fun, that i have to play it, even if its torture. I just dont know if its humanly possible beating this on veteran using a controller, i know id never do it. Id be alright if the enemy didnt respawn, so that i could sit back and pick out everyone, but no, you have to move forward, so pretty much you have to memorize every spawn point, every enemy location before you move forward. And on veteran if you are shot once in close combat, you are dead since they have freaking sniper like accuracy with every weapon, and you cant do shit. But its still mad fun, and i'll try to finish it.

So would you say this game is better by using a controller or use kybd and mouse combo?

with all due respect for the joypads, mouse+kbd for the win.
for the joypads theres even the "next target" button... pretty fair.
