About fucking time! I hope they release a patch or something that translates the French version into English once the english version is released, so i don't have to buy the game twice. Otherwise, i'm going to mail them and demand they give me a link to the English version, since i already payed for it! And if that doesn't work i'll fucking destroy them all! Twisted Evil

I'm really waiting for this one as well. It's a different game, not many like it. And I really liked the first one, even though it became a little too easy and boring after a few terms. But then you just start over and play it an entirely different way.

The first couple of times I played I always tried to play the game how I would act as that country's leader, enforcing the laws I wanted. It didn't really go that well though, I learned pretty quickly that I had to abandon a few principles for the sake of votes.

First one? There is only one mission president. I think you may have the wrong thread. The game you're descibing sounds more like democracy. And i agree with you on your points. But mission president is different. You don't have to worry about the voters if you don't want to. You can disband the parliament and make yourself president for life, which gives you absolute control. Then you can do whatever you want. I can't fucking wait for the English version. I have it all planned out how i'm going to run my country. First i'll improve my economy, then i'll fabricate some evidence so that the UN will sanction my invasion of one of my weaker neighbours, then i'll annex them. Then i'll do the same with more neighbouring countries until i have a few hundred million people, and my country becomes an economic and military superpower. Then i'll build all kinds of nuclear, biological and chemical weapons. And just to make sure they work, i'll "field test" them on the U.S. Twisted Evil

Dont get why developers dont add 2 languages in a game English and French
Just like Japan. We always have to wait 100 years to get the game to other languages

It's out on the net? I didn't think any group would bother with such an obscure game. So what was it? A newsgroup? (I'm not asking where you got it, just how, whether it was a newgroup or torrent or whatever). And i agree with you on the number of options. It's absolutely mind boggling. Which is why this game wil own so fucking hard when it's out in English. This is what Superpower 2 should have been. SP2 only had like 10 different policies that you could change, this game has literally hundreds.

This looks like a very interesting game. Tried to play it a little earlier. Don't know much French so I really just toyed around with it, not knowing what I was doing really. But I did invade Norway and Denmark. Very Happy Everyone was against me and I had no support. In the end, the game ended with a newspaper. Something about a tragedy, I wonder if I was killed or something? Laughing

Hope the English version comes out soon, will be more fun when you actually know what buttons to push and what everything means. There are so many options and stuff in this it's gonna be so fun to play around with everything when I can understand it all. Smile There was a lot of bugs in this though, but I couldn't use the patch, only the original version as I used the crack. Will probably buy this when the English version comes, looks pretty good.

Mine don't even work

I downloaded the game from the link someone posted above , installed the crack from GCW and........the game don't start.Well it does but it stay on a black screen Laughing

Suffice to say that the whole thing went straight into the recycle bin.I will wait for a proper english version.

I'd love for this game to be good. I think there is room for this kind of game in the market - especially when you consider what a shite fest Superpower's I + II were!

Still, considering the balls up they've been making on the french version, I wont be holding my breath...

the only bugs i got in the game were

- Some shitty language i could not understand Razz (French)
- Game crashed when i tried to make contracts with other govs to buy shite..

Pretty sure the second one has been fixed in a patch.. however there are just FARRRR to many options to play this game in french.. its just amazing going throu it all thou and seeing how complex it all is

The hardest thing about this game is making "real world" situations....

I mean superpower2 was HORRIBLE with that.. u had like spain invading canada.... mexico invading germany ... russia invading chile etc.

I mean i can see how those things could happen over time (eg massive diplomatic fallouts .. threats.. etc etc) however in superpower2 it was just random it seemed..

And at the same time u cant say its all unrealistic.. i mean who would have thought 100 years ago there would be a EU ??

Um, Precedents for the EU existed more then 600 years ago, so you're pretty wrong on that.
