Nice nice, do you think the game will be available for purchase in January or like somewhere in the middle of Q1?

Ridicilous how long it took for the englisch version to be ready.
I just hope this game is as good as im hoping it will be.

I'm really waiting for this one as well. It's a different game, not many like it. And I really liked the first one, even though it became a little too easy and boring after a few terms. But then you just start over and play it an entirely different way.
The first couple of times I played I always tried to play the game how I would act as that country's leader, enforcing the laws I wanted. It didn't really go that well though, I learned pretty quickly that I had to abandon a few principles for the sake of votes.

First one? There is only one mission president. I think you may have the wrong thread. The game you're descibing sounds more like democracy. And i agree with you on your points. But mission president is different. You don't have to worry about the voters if you don't want to. You can disband the parliament and make yourself president for life, which gives you absolute control. Then you can do whatever you want. I can't fucking wait for the English version. I have it all planned out how i'm going to run my country. First i'll improve my economy, then i'll fabricate some evidence so that the UN will sanction my invasion of one of my weaker neighbours, then i'll annex them. Then i'll do the same with more neighbouring countries until i have a few hundred million people, and my country becomes an economic and military superpower. Then i'll build all kinds of nuclear, biological and chemical weapons. And just to make sure they work, i'll "field test" them on the U.S.

Dont get why developers dont add 2 languages in a game English and French
Just like Japan. We always have to wait 100 years to get the game to other languages

I dont know if the problem is the game or the crack, but it's full of bugs.

I'd love for this game to be good. I think there is room for this kind of game in the market - especially when you consider what a shite fest Superpower's I + II were!
Still, considering the balls up they've been making on the french version, I wont be holding my breath...

Mine don't even work
I downloaded the game from the link someone posted above , installed the crack from GCW and........the game don't start.Well it does but it stay on a black screen
Suffice to say that the whole thing went straight into the recycle bin.I will wait for a proper english version. |
i had the same problem, uninstalled klite codec pack and it worked

The hardest thing about this game is making "real world" situations....
I mean superpower2 was HORRIBLE with that.. u had like spain invading canada.... mexico invading germany ... russia invading chile etc.
I mean i can see how those things could happen over time (eg massive diplomatic fallouts .. threats.. etc etc) however in superpower2 it was just random it seemed..
And at the same time u cant say its all unrealistic.. i mean who would have thought 100 years ago there would be a EU ??

Um, Precedents for the EU existed more then 600 years ago, so you're pretty wrong on that.
Burn them all Adolf
