ok finally opened my copy of the collectors edition of the witcher just now.. hmm...
the making-of dvd looks ok - i havent watched very much of it yet... the soundtrack is VERY dissapointing, because somewhere along the line, someone decided not to bother putting onto it the track that plays during the credits... i mean WTF, that track was awesome, it was THE track i was waiting for! so stupid.
but fuck me sally, the art book makes up for it... its HUGE, and so full of absolutely amazing shit, and im not just talking about the reprint of the nude cards, and a full sized pic of the naked green chick - i love visuals and art, and this is an amazing book!
oh and the games cool too but wow, that book is awesome, worth the extra price for the collecors edition... its kinda silly that ONE song stops it from being a really 'complete' and great set...booooooo @ the soundtrack producer!!

You can find this track in game folder/data/music. The file name is Believe.ogg

yep i know.. i just thought such a spectacular song should be on the official soundtrack and was very dissapointed that it wasnt, thats all |

I have to wait for the crack because i can't get it to work.
Tried the mini image but it keeps telling me to insert the original.
And i'm using daemon tools pro v4.10.something

yeah ghworg i had that trouble right at beginning its like snake says you need to mount in IDE drive your probably trying to mount it in SCSI just right click in daemon tools and pick the option to add IDE drive

your hitpoints only go up when you put skill points in stamina (you will see the description of +10% vitality) |
that +10% isnt where you get most of the stamina and health... you make mutigens that increase your stats, thats where most of the progress for the status bar comes from. dont worry about it, by the end of the game your a badass that can take a lot of punishment.
i can understand a lot of traditional rpg fans getting upset and scared at the game for not behaving like normal rpgs do... but i say thats a good thing... ive played a few rpgs and they generally suck. this is the first one that ive played and REALLY enjoyed.. the leveling up is unique and well done, forcing you to make decisions on where u want your character to go, and having to sacrifice one thing to build yourself up in something else... not this brainless universal leveling shit... |
