hmmm well as i predicted, it showed fuck-all... some of the in-game stuff looked allright, but the fact 3drealms werent confident enough to show us any ACTUAL gameplay is a bit worrying... so as it stands, im as confident about dnf as ive always been.. which is to say, not very much... ill wait till 2011 when we see a real trailer, before deciding.

New footage has been shown now, no matter how small it still indicates that an engine change for DNF is on the way. Its happened before , and it will happen again LOL

I don't even know what to expect anymore...the teaser does give me chills down my spine...not because it's stunning or anything like that. But seeing Duke again are like taking a warm bath, or more like your long missing friend comes knocking on the door.

well atleast now its all over and done with, and we can move on with our lives and forget about duke again...
really what happend with the teaser is that it was a contract where the devs had to show progress and release something to the public to build up hype by the end of the year...
well, december rolls round, the devs are all shitting bricks because they dont actually HAVE anything, so they string together literally ALL the content theyve managed to create so far (yes, thats a total of about 3 proof of concept in-game animated cinematics) and pass it off as an 'exciting teaser thats only showing you a FRACTION of what great shit weve created!!'

the flying monster looked nice, but damn DUKE looks wrong!!! man the game looked like more fun with that unreal trailer, it seemed to have lost alot of DUKE charm in this teaser, maybe its cos duke looks like a retarded bruce willis with bad opacity mapping for hair?
i have to agree with chiv. thats sounds like exactly what has happened.
