Never trust a retailer with release dates. For instance, Amazon recently added Gears of War 2 to their site with a guessed date.

This game better be the best game in the history of mankind. I'm talking Chess v2.0. I'm talking Pac-Man and Tetris re-invented here. This game better be so good that I quit my job, stop studying, tell my wife to piss off, never return and take my kids with her so it doesn't interfere with my gaming. It better make me painfully and slowly die by dehydration and hunger just because no way in hell I'm leaving it to eat, drink, shit or piss. This game should cure AIDS and leukaemia just by playing it considering how long it's been in development.
