I hear a lot off people talking about the game and the relaese etc. But does anyone really played the game and does it play fine, no loading problems and that kind of irritating things?

I dont see what shuld be ripped. The game works flawles and that includes the audio.
And no it's not multulanguage. only english present.
There are no notes since they have not ripped anything.
I highly doubt the game would work at all if they forgot about 1 whole layer Smile

You get to ride the bike right away and it's great Smile
Im on some mission now where i have to ride a bike, it's only like the second mission but i just cant finish it. The mofos in the car just kills me Sad
Maybe i just suck, i dunno.

Loading times are not that extreme either.
The only downside is as in the previous gta games on the ps2, the viewdistance. It's better now but it's still quite bad.

So this is just as good as the retail release? I have it preordered and will still buy it, but I don't want to get a half complete version if that's it. Are all the mission movies and soundtracks in there?

The game is very good but it's not even close to vice city or even gta3.
Mainly because i really dont like the scenery where the game takes place.
But maybe it will be better when i have seen more of the whole map.

Graphics are on pare with vice city except for the cars, they are more shiny now and have an overall higher quality so they look alot better than in previous gta games.

I cant say anything about the music because i cant really find one good station Smile

It's a huge game. I have gotten lost alot of times and that never happened in the previous gta games so it will take some time for one to memorize the map.

I miss the mouse by the way when running around. It's a pain controlling the camera with the analog stick.

edit: Dunno about dts. Since i dont have dts i did not check for it. And i cant check now.

is the entire map unlocked from the beginnning?

hows damage mode for cars, and how bloody is the game?

how "alive" are the streets of San Andreas? are there also random gang wars, cops chasing robbers, car chases etc while you're simply walking through town?

And hows ai...? I heard they react more realisitc to explosions etc...

And what about the more interactive surroundings? can set buildings on fire, destroy many things etc.?

sry for the amount of questions, but I'm too horny on that game Wink

The city feels very alive. There is alot going on while you are running around. gangs fighting, cops chasing people and i even saw a car chase (could be wrong though, maybe it was just 2 cars driving insanly fast).

Dont know how destructable the world is, have not really tried that out yet.
And the map do seem unlocked at the start yes.
The world is big but it does not feel as big as as i was expecting and far from 4x the size of vice city. It's still a big world but not THAT big.

I have not checked out the AI much but from what i have seen they seem almost identical to the AI in gta3 or vice city. But as i said, i have not spent much time on the AI yet so they can very well be better. Smile

Have not checked out the fighting much either. As it is now my dude can only do the basic fighting just like in gta3/vice city. But as far as i know you can learn new things.

I think that's it and what i know so far Smile

Oh right. There were one really dumb thing. I was suppose to get a new haircut even though my dude had almost no hair or facial hair. So i went to the barber and he magically gave me more hair and a beard so now my dude has this big affro and a beard. Ok it's a game but comeon. That is just dumb Smile

My initial observations from about 45 minutes of play.

1: The world is freaking huge. I spent most of that time driving around, you are restricted to the first "island" per say, I tried driving north on the highway and ended up running into a bridge closed sign. I got a motorcycle and proceeded to get off on the nearest exit to a small farm community where everyone was driving tractors. So I took one of those instead Very Happy

2. The load times are tolerable. I don't know if it's the fact that it's not an original or if it's just the game, but the load times for cinematics are quite slow. Once in game though everything is smooth.

3. I haven't seen any sign of ripped stuff yet, though I guess they may have ripped stuff from the later levels. Peds shout at you, movies have voice and the soundtracks are all there (at least all the ones IGN listed)

4. You can finally jump and grab ledges, so you don't spend time trying to find a jumpable ledge, you just grab and climb up, also, swimming is now an option. Maybe not a big deal to some, but these were a big detriment to the last series.

I also agree that I dont' really like the scenery of the first area, but there's supposed to be a Las Vegas and San Fran recreation on the other (restricted) areas. So I'm holding out judgement on that part.
