A woman has just been into the shop I work in and sold me £104 of Victoria Jackon makeup for £20. Im pretty sure its not the real mcoy despite the fact that it looks like it! I cant help but feel Ive been ripped off.

I even found it on ebay. The same items and for the same price although the buy it now price is twice as much at £39.99!

Genuine Victoria Jackson Make up - Hollywood Artist

Is there anyway to check the genuinity?

Even if its not real, I guess its a nice Christmas present and for my mum since I have no idea what to get her this year. I just hope it wont melt her face off lol.

Have I been ripped off?! lol.

It is certainly counterfeit. As it is maybe made of weird things it should deserves nothing else than the trash.

Ebay is still the biggest reseller of counterfeit products worldwide... Awaiting their trial.

Dont give it to anyone if its fake... It could be made from anything and could cause any sort of problem.

Personally I would bin it unless you can get it checked out to see if it is real

I dont know! I was so close to saying no but somehow ended up with a yes! I think she used some kind of mind trick on me at the last moment lol.

I bought it because it would make a good christmas present for a female in my family and I was thinking my mum. It wasnt until afterwards that I thought it may do harm if its not genuine.

Just because its not the real Mcoy it does not mean its crap.also just cos something has a 'name' attached to it does not make it good quality either. personally i wont wer anything with names attached as i reckon its shallow and extremely tacky.. but each to thier own

It looks great and it would be a shame to bin it but my only concern is if it would cause any skin problems or not.

Yeah could be a problem if the ingredients are inferior.. can you open it and reseal it? if so try a bit on your arm or somewhere like that

lol what? are you serious? I can open them with no problem but it would then look used I think once the surface of the makeup has been touched. If I tried some on my arm am I likely to be affected? Since I dont wear makeup I wouldnt have a clue what Ill be looking for unless my arms melts and then I will know not to give it to someone for Christmas lol.

i like those perfumes that cost £50 a bottle but they probably cost less than a £5 to make Laughing , i dont mind brand names but when there charging some uber markup fee just because there name is on it they can fuck off.
