Hi, Can someone help me.

Once I have booted into Vista I know how to fix the boot manager so I can dual boot but I just can't boot into Vista whatever method I try.

I have installed XP onto a seperate HD from Vista Ultimate and now I can't Boot back into Vista.

I have tried using Vista Boot Pro but it didn't help.

Booting from the HD Vista is on doesn't work either

I can't work out how to boot from the Vista disk, I have tried a recover and repair of the boot manager but I still just boot into XP

Any help would be much appreciated!

Did you tried editing boot.ini?

I managed to boot it through the Vista disk after a few attempts.

Now got it dual booting which wasn't easy.

If anyone wants to dual boot, install XP first.

What I thought was true before were lies I couldn't see,

yeah that was a really bad idea. vista's boot loader can handle XP fine, but if you install XP it will create it's own boot loader which seems to have trouble recognizing vista.

you should reinstall vista now that you have xp installed, that should solve the problem.
