I've voted yes, although in reality i'm not sure i'd call it my "escape". It's more something I just enjoy doing.

Just like my gf enjoys buying shoes i guess Wink although, my modem doesn't take up as much space Wink

hah Razz I can't be on the internet while at school Very Happy It's dreadfully slow. So when I come home I forget about forums/e-mails and what not cause i'm not obsessed about them during school. So I watch movies and listen to tunes. Internet is my weekend retreat if anything

I like watching tv, if there is anything good to look at... But it's really interesting when you can say what's on your mind out here in the open Smile

Nah. I say what's on my mind near my mates and what not. In the summer the internet was my escape when i was dating a cheap sleazy whore who shared her bed with other mates while chilllin' with me. I got over it. Sort of. Snapped recently. long story.

If internet is your escape you got issues. mad issues. social issues. I got them, but i'd rather call my druggy friends and get high Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy it's much better than going on the net and pretend you're something you're not. I try not to, but some of my opinions are formed to suit the people. It's true. Everyone melts themselves into the society. Agree with things and what not. Strong beleifs cannot be budged but little things and what not can. It's cool. and weird at the same time. You shape your personality to connect with people you'll never ever meet.

But yeh. When I'm lonely, bored and unispiered inet is the place for me. Find poeple, get ideas and what not. Everything is at your fingertips. But it's not the first place i look forward to. Y'know.

I am drunk as fuck right now. Sorry Sad

Ofcource... place where you get your music/movies/games/tv series and talk to interesting people from all over the world. Also without internet you would not see any cool videos because all of the gay censor shit. So it's very handy for me... but escape from the reality? not really...

I would like to think that I dont' use the internet for escape, I would say I use it 75% of the time for non escapism, and 25% for escape.

Read not to contradict and confute, nor to believe and take for granted, but to weigh and consider.

To the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world.

In all your remembering, remember that you have choices

Did the internet have anything to do with your break up with that terrible girl?

Terrible girl? lol I don't remember ever saying she was terrible, and I still don't know the status of her and I, still haven't heard from her. But for now I'll consider it over, hopefully she will come to and realize what she threw away. She is a smart girl.

No it didn't have anything to do with the internet.

I am upset as I feel I deserve more respect than what I've gotten, nothing! not a single effort to say hi, none the less I would rather not discuss that, I'll traverse that bridge when the time is right.

Sick for two weeks? what is wrong if you dont' mind me asking? that's a little long, I know it's none of my business but you may want to get checked out, you never know if there are other factors that could be contributing.

Don't discount friends and loved ones, sometimes people have a lot more power than we give them credit for, I remember visiting a former client who was ill and in the hospital, when her spouse was around she got better, not cured or anything but literally her vitals improved. I think there is more to healing people than western medicine, and of course people having faith and believing really helps as well.

None the less I am rambling again, I seem to do that lately.
