Christmas is, ____________
let's be semi reasonable here, but I am curious what people are actually wanting or perhaps
expecting this holiday season.

I do not know what I would want gift wise this Christmas, I am usually the one doing most of the
buying.
I think I'd have liked my original Christmas plans to go through, but if I had to pick a gift I would say
if they are available, a combo hd dvd/blu ray player.

I would gladly like to receive a month of free time for finally finishing the games / movies / anime waiting on the shelf
Uhm, if possible 2 o 3 would be better

Fitted white tee-shirt, kinda long. Roxy surf kind.
I like giving the gifts more. I spend a lot of the wrapping, make them look nice.
I did a whole basket for my sister. I will post a picture later, dead batteries. The main gift is 2 nightgowns. I don't know why but she likes the hidious granny kinda. A pizza cooking stone, her boyfriend cooks, not her. A set of pyrex cook wear. And a bunch of dollar store handy stuff like gloves, laundry bags, dish clothes. Boxes of cookies, and chocolate. Wine. Giant kinder egg toy. I stuck them in a wicker basket.

I have had some recent plans change,
so I've decided with the money that I was going to spend, I am not going to
donate that money to the underpriveledged kids in my area.
Or maybe get something for myself, my tree is lonely!

What were you going to spend the money on. You don't have to spend it. You could put it toward a rainy day. I guess you don't have kids. I think your idea is great tho. More people should do that.
I always donate a bag of cans. Like a flat of soup. Some of the christmas parties I get invited to we all bring a toy wrapped. It is hard on the older kids. They wan't cool things like ipods and gaming stuff.

I have a daughter, she is 4. I have taken care of her already.
I was going to get something for my, the person I was/am with?
It was unique, one of kind but I don't wish to share it with anyone
I can say that it would have been special.
sorry I cannot elaborate beyond what I have.
To me the money has been spent, it is no longer mine and I want it to go to something
as worthwhile as my original gift. The only thing that comes to mind are those with less.

Its nice to know others do their part

When I was with the mother of my daughter, we used to take her our and volunteer at the local
foodbank, I always wanted to teach her to help people, sadly mom won't continue the practice.
I continue to try and encourage the practice.
@Waldo! good lord, what a great thing to want for christmas! I got a hearty laugh out of that one.

I am torn on that one, personally I agree with you, professionally I am sure some of my
meat headed colleagues would disagree, but I am not working now, so we on the same team
