I seem to recall that Nero has an option to reserve space for something...

In any case, have you tried overburning?

hd rips need to take into account that someone might want to burn them, at least on a dual layer Wink

Well, WMV releases are for 360, right? So why not just transfer them via lan?

I meant in general. I was looking at a number of rips that are like 10-11 GB ... a little inconvenient if you want to store them on dvdrs...

img burn will not burn a mpg file it only burns images. For some reason my 360 will not see my pc, I have Vista 32bit. I go to computers, video, or media center and it wont pickup my pc. Whether I have media sharing turned on or off, I cant even get it to sync up to my pc with media center. I think I might reload windows????

IMGBurn burns everything...? Make the disk UDF and put the WMV inside.

(and wtf has MPG files have to do with WMV Laughing)

Because, WMV releases often take much more space when compared to x264 releases, for the same quality. 1DVD5 or 1DVD9 is usually not enough to sustain acceptable quality, so they are often done in 2xDVD5 or DVD9+DVD5 formats. There should be a program that splits (with no reencode) WMV files into two or more files.

Plus, the non-scene WMV releases, because they are targeted for 360s, and most people just transfer them over LAN, the releases often include additional language tracks, commentaries, etc.
