There are a lot of small details that make it very special. For example, when Dexter went with his dad to see the execution, you can see Dexter's face reflection on the glass, exactly where that prisoner face is. |
Yeah. That was a nice touch.

Lost Room was cool too and I was a bit disappointed it ended so fast.
but man latest Dex episode..ughh
Spoiler: | his discomposing face when he's facing landy in his office, preparing himself to get officially accused..lol..the twist is a bit predictable but the way everything falls in place and the way its acted in a believable manner really makes it worth..
and the cliffhanger at the end of episode...ugh this time either Doakes dies or Dexter falls. no move avoiding! |
crazy finish rolling up this season..I see same season 1 intensity of last episodes building up now.. hold tight!

Following my comments on ep 9 I thought dexter/doakes life has to be decided once and for all.
how the hell they managed to postpone that and offer a credible momento, where everything on what forms Dexter behaviour just got shattered by the truth of his dad's death. It is tragic when he always thought he was immune to feelings ,he feel deep that blow.
I think that blow is critical. his dad defined him a code to follow, and he followed it so well he became a cold killing machine, that possibly destroyed his dad inside. the same code that made him kill his newfound brother. Truely that shock is traumatic for anyone, Dexter included.
I'm puzzled now what direction will take Dexter next, seeing he can't just proceed as originally planned before the revelation.
there's so many avenues for Dexter :
- free Doakes and turn himself out, completely shattered with guilt.
- do nothing out of shock for many days, raising suspicion and finally getting caught.
- just leaves, quit everything, his sis, what he loved, just escape the chaos inside and the pressure of police
I see no good ending for Dexter. it will be a bad for worse choice for him. just like when killing his brother.
thats without saying: Dexter rulez!

that's why i asked if it was p2p. Seems to happen more often nowadays that people just release stuff on their own via p2p. More power to the people

just ruined this night's sleep and watched the last two episodes and damn was it worth it. After having watched this the latest heroes offering feels even more abysmal to me. Dexter is definitly one of the greater tv shows to have graced the ethers (or rather fibre-optics ).
