HI

I'm using Win Vista 64 and can't launch COD 4. I have reinstalled graphic and music drivers and still nothing. Even changed the resolution to 800x600 and uninstalled realtek drivers (typical solution on all problems presented on activision site) and still nothing. I have Geforce 7900 gs, 2 gb RAM, P5N-e motherboard, C2D 6400 - it shouldn't be any problem to run it.

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!

Try this:

Find the file: "mssmp3.asi" default directory is C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\miles

Rename it to: "mssmp3.bak"

I'm using the 169.09 beta-drivers from nvidia and i have that blacktexture problem, or they aint always black it flickers all the time when i'm in some room with lights, its like when I'm are under i light it flickers, but when i get some meters away from it, it looks like normal. This is the only game who does that. I have tried to use Default settings, but no luck. It's really annoying. btw using Geforce 7600 GS 512mb.

I didn't install the 1.5 patch because there is no 1.5 crack on gamecopyworld.

After installing 1.5 the copy protection is gone...hence no need for a crack Wink
You still need a valid CD key to play on pub servers but.

Have you tried "Turn off your Vsync in your display settings"
and even check "older" NV drivers. Its just what I have found reading about peeps with the same prob as you have.
