Anybody playing this one...I got it this monday and so far the game has been a blast...This could be PS3 game of the year
I am having a hard time deciding which one to keep, this or ratchet and Clank, another kickass game...any suggestions

My Dad is eagerly awaiting the UK release and I have to say it does look damn good. Shame its a PS3 exclusive coz I only have an Xbox 360 lol.

Definitely one of the better PS3 games. But 'best graphics on a console' is hardly accurate I think.
I'd say about 85%, just an extremely well done Tomb Raider style game with the recently popularized 'duck and cover' shooting mechanic.

Looks like I need to wait a while longer to get a PS3 if this is one of the better games on it.
Not too impressed myself.
Especially with no multi player, and what appears to be a short game. Guy on the video said experienced players would be lucky to get 10 hours out of it.
Meh.

Halo has a fairly extensive multiplayer though.
Ok, so Uncharted is only of moderate length and has no multiplayer, that doesn't make it a bad game. Just not particularly good value for money.

It is a rent game, just like Heavenly Sword. Not good if you're a PS3 owner. Seems like all PS3 games are merely rent games, I think that was his point. If it had multiplayer then it might be worth a buy.

My copy's just been dispatched. MP doesn't interest me anymore so i couldn't give a toss if it's there or not. Unless it's a game that's built entirely around it like the battlefield titles, warhawk etc.

Ratchet and Clank, imho, was an absolute blast to play and I am currently playing through it all over again on challenge mode. It may be even easier second time through, but it's still damn fun. But nonetheless, this is to be expected, as they all have been pretty great. As for uncharted, probably going to pick it up after Christmas since there is more than enough games to play right now, but liking what I hear about it.

I don´t get people whining about no multiplayer options.It´s a freaking adventure game!That´s like saying Tomb Raider or Max Payne should have multiplayer.This constant need to make everything with online modes is stupid.Some things were meant to be played alone.

have it on Pre-order for next Friday UK release, plenty of replay value if your after all the hidden items and there is always the unlockable crusher mode.
Roll on next Friday as i have the mighty SINGSTAR on order also, lol

I am not an XBOX 360 fan, I am simply a video game fan.
I like PC's, and consoles.
I own a PS 2, 5 computers, Nintendo Game Cube, Nintendo Wii, Xbox, Xbox 360, nintendo 64.
I simply haven't bought a PS 3 because there aren't any games on it that appeal to me. So, don't try to start a flame war with me. There's no war to be had.

What I was saying is that if the game is indeed 10 hours that is pretty good these days. i finished Halo 3 in about 5-6 hours and COD4 in just over 4. So 10 seems bang on.
I'm not trying to start anything, just expressing my views in a public forum.

COD 4 in 4 hours,I call BS if you where playing it on veteran & completed in 4 hours,& with veteran the only level that gives you a real challenge the other levels are a waste on time in fact I would go to say the easier levels are for people to that want tocomplete the game quickly,like say in 4 hours

You seem to be ignoring the fact that both COD4 and Halo 3 both have extensive multiplayer modes, so a short single player is far less of an issue.
10 hours and no multiplayer is not good enough value for money for alot of gamers. I guess people with PS3's will buy it anyway though as they have nothing else to play.
Personally if it's an intense 10 hours I would be fairly satisfied though.

Great game for sure as is R&C, the scenery in drakes is worth it alone, another note the console war has just begun , PS3 hasn't been out that long , things take time to develop, every console has it's start up time and a 1% failure rate but that might be a sore subject for some consoles.... nuff said

The only people who give a rats ass about the console war are people like yourself. I could care less. i like good games. PS3 just doesn't have any that appeal to me at the moment. nuff said.
The console wars begin in each developers development rooms. Xbox just managed to get the first shot off this time. Depends on how well Sony can take a punch I suppose... but to me, it looks like they are going the same route with this as they did with the PSX and the PSX bombed. So, I am waiting a bit longer (everyone says next year, last year they said this year) to see if a lot more better games come out for it. I am not going to pick one up for Blue Ray because we still don't know if Blue Ray or HDVD is going to be the standard and when one does become teh standard, the players are going to drop like a rock anyway in price. I am, thankfully, a pretty patient person.

Hell i like it when there's 2 good consoles on the market. Good consoles = competition = good games and lower prices.
