I guess you have a screen with a trinitron tube. They all have two thin lines wich run across the screen. They are visible wires, which contain a grid. There is nothing you can do about it.
But strange is the fact that they are green. Give a little more detail about your screen.

no it's not trinitron, not even my monitor, I have a trinitron myself and know what you mean, yet these lines are far bigger (wider), flicker on and out and are greenish .... the screen itself was bundled from a brand pc. And it's been like that for "some time"....

weird, whoKnows is referring to te stabilization lines but indeed that shouldn't be the problem here.
Don't know what it could be...

Any Speakers sitting near the Moniter Remove them now.
maybe speakers are to close to the moniter which will turn demagnitizes the inards of moniter leaving u with what ya see .
not all moniters and speakers do this some PC speakers have Shielding around them .

sometimes if my oscillating fan gets to close i get flickering.
