Help needed Smile... Im playing the game on Veteran and Im upto where you are carrying the wounded guy and he calls for the rescue helicopter or what ever it is and then tells you to get into a good sniping area. Where is the best sniping area as it feels impossible Smile. Ive managed to get to the checkpoint where the enemy helicopters arive but cant get any further. Is there any RPG's hidden around the area so I can shoot the helis down??

Go behind the lil car thingy.. don't know how to say that in english. And just camp there, but they will attack you and send 2 dogs. After like 3mins your chopper will come for you.

I am now stuck on the final mission on veteran. It was near to impossible with that 9mins shit as the checkpoint didn't work. So after trying 1hour to get it I get "checkpoint reached" when I was there 2345245345 times before...

The final stage underground is really really hard.

the grass on the hill behind the ferris wheel is glowing to show you where to drop him. Then get yourself to the right of him and watch for them flanking you

On veteran I found it almost impossible, so after getting to the point where the helicopters come I completely changed my tactic. I grabbed a shotgun (or an automatic weapon), and waited at the bottom of the ropes that each helicopter trails out and shot the guys as they arrived.

If you're quick you can just run around to most of them before they touch down. Lay claymores at the known spots where the men get dropped off because you won't be able to get to all of them in time, pick your targets.

Once all the helicopter guys are dead, it's fairly easy to retreat back to your original spot and snipe the rest of the soldiers as they round the corner. Smile

i hid behind the bumper cars like someone mentioned earlier, took me about 3 goes when i adopted this tactic, the end was fucking exhilirating because I stayed there for ages even when our chopper landed, and then i was carrying the cripple to the chopper and they said WERE LEAVING and the swat team got into the chopper before me and i literally got in the chopper as it was leaving. AS i looked back at those arabs I felt a rush of relief FUCK YOU ARAB CUNTS I GOT AWAY HAHAHAHHA.

firstly, "cripples" is not very politically correct and they were not Arabs they were Russians

Finally made it and yes the Dodgem area is the best place to be Smile. This is how I did it, I planted a load of C4 along where you have to run back to pick your friend up and hid behind the dodgem stand right on the left behind the metal pillar and just picked loads of them off with my rifle. Then when the heli arrived I blew my C4 up killing all the baddies covering the area I had to run back to and picked the guy up and just ran to the heli.

Found another place to hide, around the corner of where you first came from (the swimming pool bit) theres a ally way you can camp there until the heli arrives but it makes it impossible to get back to rescue your friend.


Anyway, now Im upto planting the C4 on that tank

Nope..... You need to hide behind the steel things and wait untill it stops...

Than throw the smoke nade and plant the C4.

You will get stuck later on when you have 9mins left to finish the mission. I tried that about 100 times and could not do it. But thanks to this site: http://www.nextgenwalkthroughs.com/systems/xbox360/cod4/index.php

I got it done and I am very happy with my 1000points on COD4 Very Happy

I C4'd the other 2 before you go into the vents.

Now Im on that 9 min bit, its hard. Might have a look at that link if I cant do it thanks Smile

Im getting pished off with this game now Razz.. This 9 min level is too hard on veteran!! Looks like there is Checkpoints as long as you get to them before a certain time. currently at the final tunnels before the blast door

I bet that 9min level would be 100 times easier with a mouse and keyboard..

Finally gonna check this game out. Really shocked over all the 100% reivews. Iv always loved Cod, but I tought it was kinda overrated when people said it was the greatest FPS game of the year etc. but seems like it might be. Iv just played the COD4 beta on XBL. Seen some trailers, and it looks better and different from the other ones. More fun in the middle east Very Happy

Apparently on the pirate version of the game you can modify it to have noclip, of course you can't go online with a modified version so who cares.

i played it online, on xbox live, and it said world record 13 or 15 seconds something like that, fastest i could do was 22 seconds after quite a few tries.

My record is 17 seconds...

The trick is not just to be fast, but when you shoot all headshots with 1 bullet you get accurate bonus. And that they take away on the final time and so you can do that.

Beating the game on anything but veteran can be done by anyone. Beating the game on veteran is a challenge Smile

No Fupping way!!! after 200+ retries over 3 hours I was about 2 meters from the fupping final door and the fupping bomb went off!!!
