So where is LeoNatan now with his bullshit about how VISTA performs better for DX10-games?
I also think fisk should be unbanned.

make no mistake, i still believe there's much to be enjoyed with DX10, only not yet (or not in a few years lol, until consoles are really phased out by PC hardware).

power struggle is a great mode, but as others have mentioned, this game needs online ranking.
a multiplayer mode is simply not complete nowadays with stats tracking and ranking so you can set goals to work towards. |
it would be nice if servers kept stats, so that if you made something like 100 kills on a server, the next time you join, you automatically start from the second rank instead of the bottom, up to a maximum rank of three or something... wouldnt make sense if people spent so much time on a server that their first round meant starting with a fucking gauss gun or some shit..
but more importantly.. how about an anti-cheat system that works... punkbuster is a load of shit... atleast vac on steam (for all the steam hate) tends to work much better.

Has anybody else here had a problem with the Onslaught mission? As soon as I'm out of the tunnel at the beginning some guy starts talking, in the middle of the first line the game crashes

So these asswipes want to improve the graphics for the sequel. What is the logic behind that given the already abismal performance?
My guess is they are pulling a Valve, Crysis 2 isn't coming out for another 2 years when they expect it to run on the average PC - so much for the trilogy.

ragdoll'ed dead bodies, for those who need such a thing. I guess it's the same people who feel that it makes a shooter bad if dead bodies don't stay on the ground forever.
I guess it would be good for realism if a grenade that explodes close to a dead body will actually throw that body around, although I'm sure many people will get this mod just so they can shoot dead people again.. and again.. and again.

Just finished the "Alien Cave" and "Snow" level here (I know late, but I have been taking it really slow with this game....enjoying every bit) MAN! the level design of this game is TOTALLY ACE! Never ever seen a better "Alien Ship" interior in a game!. Reminds me of the film "Fire in the Sky" 100%. bloody brilliant!!!!

i really dont get it, people complaining bout the performance on lower end machines.
seriously ihave a 2.8ghz p4 (5+ years old computer, bought june 2002) with 1 gb ram and a 7800gs nvidia gpu(only part i've upgraded since), no fancy pci-express stuff even, agp card. Ihave zero issues with the game performance, i run everything on Medium on 1024x768 and it looks great and runs great. If a 5 year old comp runs it fine, wth is ppl talking about.
Also another issue i want to touch is people saying its short or whatever, dont even bother playing this game with anything under hard difficulty, delta preferably. The game is far more enjoyable and exciting on Delta, a single map can take anywhere from 30mins to an hour, the suit powers are really too powerful to play the game on any of the lower difficulty settings, mainly cloaking is abit too cheesy.
Think a maxpayne/fear type slomo would've suited better than invisibility since instant cloak feels so easy even on the hardest difficulty, i guess they had to go for the invis since slomo use wouldve been whined as copying other games. Anyway with proper timing u can clear an open area of soldier just by cloak, headshot, hug ground, cloak, headshot etc. Timeslowing atleast had its limits in open battles!

I personally thought the Dev's did a fantastic job with the You vs KPA portion of the game. As soon as the Alien shit came along it took a turn for the worse - Abrupt, retarded and not exactly interesting. It literally ruined the game for me, these guys should steer away from Sci-Fi shit because they execute it horribly.
After about 5 mins of the alien ship I was over it. Seriously wanted the game to end already but that part was drawn out too much.
After a few Alien encounters I wanted to fight the KPA again - they managed to make the same mistake twice and blow the 2nd half of the game like Farcry.
