I just picked up a Wii, decided i might aswell complete the trilogy of next-gen systems. I got Twilight Princess with it. Just looking for some recommendations on anyother must have or fun titles?

Ps:No multi-plats.

I just got a new Wii and started playing Super Mario Galaxy. Really awesome game, can only recommend it.
Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles tempts me as well, it looks quite good

I don't own a Wii, but I heard that the Wii version of Resident Evil 4 is the definite version of it and it's supposedly really great thanks to the Wii remote aiming.

Super Mario Galaxy also appears to be a good game.

Metrod Prime 3 is probably pretty cool.

Can't think of anything else. Pretty few big games on the wii. It's mostly a family/party console and has lots of party games I guess.

I was thinking about buying a Wii a while ago, and I checked out some game reviews.. but other than Fire Emblem I don't think I'm interested in any game on that console. That's kinda sad.

There's wii modchips, and the console is cheap, but there's just no huge games that make me wanna buy it. What a pity :/

Metroid Prime 3 is a quality title and should be in every Wii owners game library.

May the NFOrce be with you always.

Titles that are (IMHO) Wii Must-Haves and not already mentioned:

Zack And Wiki: Quest for Barbarosa's Treasure - awesome quirky adventure/puzzle/gesture based game, unlike most games on the market, and totally not a kid's game despite the poor mis-targeted marketing it got

Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles - Just pure fun that brings back the best of the arcade shooting gallery type games...Highly recommend playing this with a mate and competing to see who can bust the most caps in t-virus inflicted mofos

Medal of Honor 2: Heroes - Maybe not Must-Have but great example of FPS done right on the Wii, with decent graphics and awesome controls, especially with the zapper - pretty awesome leaning around corners and aiming at nazis down your iron sights

Battalion Wars 2 - About the only game worth messing with Friends codes on the wii for...not quite the tactical masterpiece it might have been, but still pretty fun to play, and not at all for the family/mini-game audience that most Wii games are targeted at

Anyways hope this helps...have fun with yer Wii

the AAA titles (all 4 or so of them) make up for the cheap cost of the console.

its a good fun machine!

Ty for the rec's. I'll have alook at some reviews over the weekend but i'll prob pick up Mario Galaxy. I also want to get my hands on Resi: Remake, Resi 0 and MGS: Twin Snakes, since i never got to play em on GC.

Still have to admit i'm glad i got the 360 first, games selections on Wii + PS3 are way too limited atm. Hopefully 08 will be a better year for both consoles.

SMG is the best platformer possibly ever and is up there with the best games ever made. A must for any Wii owner. There hasn't been a platformer in the same league since super mario 3d!

Apart from that and metroid you are pretty limited. RE4 on Wii is the best version and a must have if you haven't played it through yet..

edweird: mario party isn't all that unfortunately Sad

How the hell do you use those things?
I have 2 different discs with emultators, and 1 "boot disc" for my chip, but when I start them up I come to a menu with a Gamecube logo and 2 choices, and I can't do squat. The remote doesn't work and my Classic controler doesn't work.
Do I have to get an separate Gamecube controller or what's the problem?

Because there's an "Console Arena"?
Although most people just write about boring Xbox360 games.

Ah, then I agree. Seems a bit more logical than "Anime" and such sections.
