I think I found the folder.

\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\kaneandlynch\

Which for XP would be in the \Documents and Settings\UserName\Application Data\
or the \Local Settings\ folder \kaneandlynch\
(Show hidden files and folders need to be enabled for these folders to be viewable.)

It uses Windows Live however so the actual savegames are in another folder, if those are what you are after. Smile
( \Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Microsoft\XLive\ the Content or Titles folder, unsure due to the odd naming consisting of only numbers.)

Ops my bad,kaneandlynch folder is for game settings,the one im looking for is XLive as u stated. I just reinstalled game,and now I only need savegame (Xlive folder) to unlock chapters and continue to play.

For those who need it : when you remove all not needed languages (also delete the not needed languages in Scenes)+ attract movies and edit the msi file with Installshield 2008 you can edit this game to fit easily on a Dvd5 , takes like 4.5 gigs after 7z compression its 4.3gig Razz

Damn this game was fucking awesome! I just finished it and I loved every minute. The dark atmosphere, the story and the cool characters with their funny dialogs were simply fantastic! The level design was also very varied - you robbed a bank, kidnapped a woman in a night club, broke into a prison, fled from the cops through the streets of Tokyo, etc. etc. It was totally amazing! Smile
I can't wait for the already announced sequel.
I didn't have a single crash and no G4WL problems at all. Performance could have been better though. And the AI too.

How far is havana from the end of the game? I'm at the scene where you have to take down a helicopter.

Hi... where abouts exactly are you selecting Directsound?? in Windows or in the game??

Any chance you can explain exactly what you did ?

Mine places ok.. most places.. but the outside scenes are slideshow city!! unless I look down at my own feet... then it zips along Confused Confused

when you start to play save game, you can see progress bar under the mission image and this way you can indicate, how far you are from the end.

well...i played on easy as usual;) and if you compair havana to other mission's..maybe it harder, but not so hard..i loved the shooting heli:)
this game is alot of fun imo.

well this game has only 14 missions (2 last missions only take play if you pick one of the two possible endings)

@Stainy

You set it in-game go to
Options > Audio > Sound Render > click the black arrow on the right(left ?) when you high light the OPENAL after 3-4 click it will turn into DirectSound

windows live isn't pay to play online, silver subscription is free for pc to pc, tho gears of war you have to pay in order to make a game private which is ridiculous

ok, you have to pay to get some exclusive features, like "private game", ms is making fun of pc gamers...

That's why I love how ignorant people are. They think their such awesome people for what they create when all they want to do is make money off of what's been around for years. Xbox 1 was just their foot into the door for console gaming, now they make the 360 which is a good system but damn near made out of trash. Sony offers free online gaming but MS knows theres money to be made. Money money money. Now they force their BS windows live into PC games why? cause online gaming has been free since the dawn of time and theres money to be made.

Just like MS and their DX10 scam. It's all about the money to them. Just like EA and UBI. And as long as idiots buy their shit, they're going to continue doin it.

hello i'm at the end of the game where you need to safe jenny and where you have 6 guys on balcony and 2 guys with jenny every time i run to a safe spot i get shot and killed
how can i solve this?

lol..i kinda stucked here also and i found out that when they are talking, you can kill all the guys on the balcony and only the two jeny keepers will stay alive..you can kill them and nothing will happends untill you will hit the mine lol..its coding bug i guess.
