there was a game called vietcong and one mission inside this game was great:

i had to release american prisoner from the vietcong and they were hold the prisoner in a small camp deep in the jungo. till now it is average, but the special thing was that the mission was in the mid of the night and all the around was dark as hell, coulden't see a shit and heard my soldiers here and there talking and fighting ,could see the around only when i fired phosphorus bullets..damn what a cool VR mission..defenatly one of the best missions i ever played.

what a days Smile

Thief 2 - Life of the Party

At the time it was easily the best level of any game I'd ever played!

Battlezone1 sniper mission, it was an amazing experience the only mission, and game, that inspired me to paint for some reason.

I think it was an armored column with a special hovercraft in the middle that you had to steal, I set up position on very high ground, sniped the driver with my sniper rifle then glided to the driverless craft (location of the game is on the moon) than somehow made my gateway in the howercraft under a rain of bullets, amazing game.

Is it the one where you kill a man in who is in the bathroom? Then i totaly agree! Smile

The first mission in Hidden and dangerous!

Dont think it was the mission in it self, the game was just so awsome that the first impression have lasted for a long time Smile

Also some missions in Crusader No Regret was great!

About Hidden And Dangerous (Assuming that you mean the first one)... it's the mission where you are to blow up a bridge on the morning? I remember it being hard as hell, but challenging non the less!

Another wich I'll always love is in Call of Cthulu: Dark corners of the earth. The first mission in Innsmouth where you have to flee not to get murdered in your sleep. Really brilliant, with your heart beating as fast as it could, the game was wonderful when you didn't have any weapons to defend yourself. Scary as hell, remeber bolting the doors and pushing cupboards in front of the doors as you fled..

Oh yeah, that was intense Wink

Thief 3 Deadly Shadows

Mission : Robbing The Cradle - you have to enter the abandoned orphanage/insane asylum at night. The atmosphere is really great in that mission. Especially the first level.

I like the mission where you had to hold back the germans and wait for a plane to arrive and pick you up. It was intense, first laying in the tree-line picking them off and when you saw the plane arrive, run out in the field while the soldier with the Bren was laying down covering fire. Once you got into the plane you could use the turret to lay down cover so the Bren guy could run to the plane.

I like the 2nd mission too in multiplayer, the trainyard mission. My friend popped flares to lit up the ground, while I picked out the germans with my sniperrifle. Great deal of teamwork.

I agree on that one, that mission is the only thing I really remember from Thief 3.

Darn.. it's hard to think of particular missions...

Indeed. There are no monsters on the first level, but when I was plying it, I was sure I saw a couple. Excellent work by the design team.
It even has an article about it : http://gillen.cream.org/thecradle.pdf.

Ah yes i think i remember that one, also a very good mission!

The second map in SP was cool but i just hated that there was no way to look around when you moved up into the trainyard from the sewers Very Happy
