This is puzzling me, could be that im way too tired or just plain stupid.

I have a 4:3 clip, a tv-commercial, and i have to convert it to 16:9.

Now, what i tried was to create a new project in Premiere with the 16:9 setting, added the old 4:3 and exported. Now when i play the file, it has black bars on the sides and is a little sqeezed, meaining its a "taller" image than the previous version.

Is this right? Will it display correctly as 16:9? Im just confused Razz

Oh, and if anyone has any tips on how to correctly convert it, PLEASE let me know asap Smile

Wait, "interpret footage"..

That streches the footage to fit the widescreen layout.. correct or not?
