makes perfect sense, they should actually start forcing people to loose weight if they keep wanna have health insurance. not only for their own good but also for the good of the economy and the future

there is a parallel private health care system in NZ, why not just deny her access to the public system until she loses some weight?

sounds like he has a high paid job aswell maybe the country just doesnt like outsiders coming in and taking over the highly skilled jobs :S

Seems fair to me.. we are a sovereign country and can pass laws, rules and regulations pretty much as we please with regards to immigration..
No one has the "Right" to come here...
Maybe if we lived on some utopian planet and we were all citizens of earth.. but we dont...

I feel the law is unfair and rather silly, however the fact that they both new of the rules
and didn't do anything to follow them shows there own ignorance. They want to move to
a location that has rules, they should adapt or live elsewhere.
