This has been out for a week almost and still no crack? Did they implement some insane copy protection for this game? Pretty confusing considering Crysis, Gears of War, and UT3 came out so fast.

Only the PoD can provide a working crack for GH3

What's the PoD? Sorry I'm a n00b with this stuff.

I wouldn't be surprised if a scene release for this game comes way, way late. I doubt many people know or remember this, but it was months before a scene release of the PC version of In The Groove showed up. And it wasn't due to insane copy protection, but more lack of interest, as well as a feeling that it was pointless without it's peripheral.

Interest for GH3 is higher than ITG, I admit, but still...

lol Pick of Destiny. Should've gotten that one.

I also wonder if there's lack of interest to release this. I guess it's just started arriving at other stores besides Best Buy in the past day or two, so if a release is coming at all, should be in the next few days.

You definitely need a guitar controller to enjoy this game which may explain a lack of interest in PC community not wanting to shell out actual $ for the peripheral. I'd rather use my PS2 wired one or get a new wireless Les Paul than use the crappy X-plorer that comes with the retail version though.

My 360 has been struck by the RROD and sent to Germany. The only hardware still here is my X-plorer guitar. That's why I am waiting for the release of the GH3 PC version. Smile
So, no lack of interest here Very Happy

i've played for some hours today, and i liked it a lot. The only bad thing is that it's quite hard to play on the the keyboard (i'm on easy and it's ok, but tried on medium and it's quite hard, can't imagine what will be with all the notes...), oh , and there is only one scorpions track (so far..) Sad.

Why release crap like SoF3 and EE3, when they could just have released this instead? Sad

I took a chance and dloaded the Torrent version of GH3 and it works perfectly on XP and has no need for a crack if you burn the DVD properly and use a simple step.

Seems people on torrents are retards and just incapable of following simple instructions.

Burn the MDS file to a DVD using RMPS option enabled.

run Daemon tools and then turn all options on and then goto mount drives and disable all drives so its got nothing mounted.

then just play!

When u play with Tom Morello the other parts of the scenario works fine, but the main stage has weird lines because of the addition of Tom..i guess..

Other than that, the game has something the PS2 version doesn't has..HD vids and the "Paper Magazine" mini cutscene before going to the menu

So can anyone report on how the 360 GH2 guitar works? Does the strum bar work ingame? Because in frets on fire or guitar zero (yes, zero) the strum bar never works, so you had to download a custom 1-man-made driver for the guitar that basically turned the strum bar into an axis instead of a pov-switch.
Which i have now uninstalled, of course Sad

You guys realize this is uncracked right? I don't see how this is different from the torrent of this game that was put up a few days ago. I'm using YASU with DT 4.06HE to run that release without a DVD as well. Yay for scene release I guess but really this is no better than the one that dude put up a few days ago.

A scene release is semi-confirmed to work and be virusfree.
A private release from an unknown dude on the internet wont work 90% of the time and has viruses 98% of the time.
Thats why Wink

I use Vista 32-bit and Yasu cloaks just fine. Must be something fishy with your pc configuration.

There is nothing "fishy" with my pc configuration. It just cant find any devices to cloak.
Or it only works with DT 4.06HE? I was under the impression that that DT version didnt work in vista, only DT pro 4.10, which im using.
