Yes and the point I was getting at was that the "franchise" that comes with it is godawful. It was a good film for its time, a cult classic even. But its been, and is still getting milked.

The cartoons were sweet, the action figures of the cartoon were brilliant (god, I remember the slime you could buy), the Atari 2600 game was one of my favorite games on that console - it's only Ghost Busters 2 for Gameboy that I hated and the second movie, while not bad, wasn't as great as the first which ironically had a much lower budget and was written in a very short time (love the commentary on the DVD).

It seems the game might be in trouble after all.

EDIT: Fixed the links, should go to the correct article now.

Engine details, seems it'll use additional effects on PC (SLI/Crossfire will also help performance when using those new effects.)

I'm super-psyched for this game! Been waiting for it for ages ... and I'm so relieved that it wasn't canned after the Activision/Blizzard merger.

SWEET JESUS!

Quote:

PCGH: When Developing do you try to leverage very modern PC-Technologies like Dual-GPU-Rendering/SLI- or Crossfire-Systems)? In other words: As far as overall performance is concerned, can players increase it remarkably by buying a second graphics card or a card with two GPUs? Do you have to add the support for multi GPU setting when developing the PC Version?

Mark Randel: Most definitely if you have an SLI rig, Ghostbusters will take full advantage of it. Right now, with all the rendering features on, you'll need one to render at the highest visual quality.

I'm looking foreward to this almost as much as diablo 3! And they've added multiplayer co op to it as well now!

There are also hints being dropped of a possible sequel, and of additional content as a possibility as well.

I'm kinda tired of 1st person shooter, and this gives us something different for this type of game.

Only thing better would be if they created multiplayer where one team could be ghosts!
